Thanks for the heads up.

For the record, installed and no problems. Kept my previous files and content directories. Opened and closed twice without any strange, weird, scary messages, so fingers crossed that it's full steam ahead.
Yep, I can second that. The update did suggest I uninstalled the existing Poser which I said yes to, installed with the 'use existing preferences checked' and all went well. It requested a system restart when complete which I did. First launch went as expected and loaded with my preferred scene, test render went fine so all I need to do is have a play with the new pieces.
I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 - Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU . The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.
Update:
I had to delete and re-install 11.3 (Mac OS 10.15.4) before it finally "saw" the content library in the UI. Weird, because the content library tab was there, but empty and without a way to add any runtimes--no +/- signs in the UI. I then had a way to add my DAZ3D runtime directory, but had to reboot in order to populate my previously saved scene with my DAZ figure (V4.2). Just a little stress - whew!
OK, I'm having a problem with the downloads, and posted about it in the PP11 Technical forum here -->

I'm drawing a blank, but what's the method by which you re-link a runtime library? Installed the latest version (11.3 on a Mac) and I don't see any content libraries.
Open the Library window. At the top, you'll see a plus and a negative sign. Click the plus and direct it to the runtime you want to attach.

Lotsa good stuff in the transportation content that you download separately. Kudos to the merchants for all this!

Great, downloaded, run the install, uninstalled previous version... completed running, started software... Help/About says Version 11.2.329 ... WTF (WOW That's Fantastic) when will Version 11.3 be available?
My Version 11.3.740 i downloaded just before noon
Ok so I asked if the update would overwrite my preferences and was assured it wouldn't... well dammit if is hasn't just overwritten my preferences and set up Gammy Legged La Femme as the standard and overwritten the whole thing...
I am so blooming cross right now! I am going to waste so much time fixing this!
Can you please fix your MAC updater so it just blooming works! I have written this 3 times to filter out the blooming swearwords...

I don't understand this - I'm on a Mac too and the old preferences are still in the Library folder, labelled 11.... (long string of numbers), with the new downloaded prefs in the folder labelled "11". So all I do is move the old prefs into the new folder, thereby overwriting them and restoring my settings. Look in the usr/(your name)/library/application support/PoserPro and you should find the old and new prefs.

I thought that was it, but when I first installed the update, those features were disabled somehow. Had to delete and re-install to bring them back. Thanks!

Brilliant thank you!

I have a library for purchase item on the secondary drive already, but how do i set the preference "purchase" item to be stored in the secondary drive, and how do I delete what i loaded on my primary drive? It seems I am making a duplicate, and I was hoping the program was going to ask me where I wanted the item to be loaded. So I closed down the program to keep it from loading more stuff on my limited HD. Where is the files located for the purchase item library?
I did a shadow copy back-up of my poser 11.2 first before downloaded and upgrading. everything seems to be running okay no error messages when i ran a test scene made with poser 11.2 I'll try testing out some of the dynamic clothing functions later tonight. I see there is still no .DUF file support for genesis 8 :( That be a killa improvement if there was. I do like the content library though. I don't really notice any difference in render speed or clarity improvements with my 1080ti GPU's though. the renders still look the same. were there any security updates to the new version? other wise pretty much the same as poser 11.2 for me
OK! Problem solved! Re-downloaded the upgrade and now have Poser 11.3.740. The only problem is Malwarebytes (if you are running it) raising a 'false flag' re the support files as mentioned earlier. The simple solution is to click the right-facing arrow to the right of the notice and click 'open' on the pop-up which runs the download as normal.
I don't know either. Ever since the original release of P-11, it keeps telling me it can't find the modules when they're right where they're supposed to be. Of course since the Powers that be made the mistake of pulling Wardrobe Wizard out, I have no need for Python, but still, I get tired of that stupid message popping up every time.
I was concerned about PilotHigh's observation that for him 11.3 was slower. So after installing on my Mojave iMac (6 years old Intel i7-4790K CPU @ 4.0 GHz) I decided to do some comparisons. I used the same La Femme .pz3 in both. The upshot is that on my iMac 11.3 is only a tiny amount slower with FireFly and is actually faster with SuperFly.
That is a FireFly render in 11.2 took 230 seconds and in 11.3 it took 240 seconds. The equivalent SuperFly took 153 seconds in 11.2 and 140 seconds in 11.3.
I did notice that the SuperFly presets have changed so the medium setting in 11.3 takes longer than the 11.2 medium setting; so I made sure both 11.2 and 11.3 had the exact same SuperFly render settings when comparing. Btw, I think the new 11.3 render presets look to be an improvement too, having really good results with the lowest quality preset for previewing which will speed up my workflow.
Just as welcome as the SuperFly speed boost is a particular bug-fix. In 11.2 I used to get certain parts of a superFly render having artifacts, usually specular areas such as fingernails and eyes. This appears to have been resolved in 11.3
Looking forward I really hope Renderosity gives us Mac users some love and embraces Metal and supports our GPUs (internal and external).
In terms of installing 11.3 I decided to keep both on my machine so renamed the Poser 11 folder as Poser 11.2 before installing 11.3.
As has been noted, the 11.2 preferences are not simply deleted and so I was able to rename the "11_202004071811" folder in Library:Application Support: Poser Pro: back to "11" (I actually renamed "11" to "11.3" first so I could go back if necessary - but it hasn't been necessary.
Of course, after installing 11.3 I had to go and re-install EZSkin3 as it lives in the app runtime not one of my external ones. But all in all, so far I would say it's a good and worthwhile update :D
So does this update use the current nvidia drivers that will really use some of my decade old cuda hardware effectively

Poser 11.3 is ready to download from the main PoserSoftware.com downloads page.
The update includes an improved library search, auto-sync of content purchased from Renderosity, fixes for Mac's Catalina OS, and a new stand-alone male figure but at the top of the list of new features is support for the latest NVIDIA RTX (Turing architecture) GPU cards on Windows. The update is free for anyone with a license to any version of Poser 11. You can find the full release notes later today on the Poser website.
