I've a curious issue with the fitting room. I've tried different clothing items now to fit to La Femme, but always the same problem occured. I fitted the item according to the poser pulse short tutorial except I didn't always use auto group. The item seemed fitted well enough after turned into a new figure, but when conformed to La Femme and applied a pose to La Femme, the clothing item would ripp apart at various places.

Like in this instant: clothing item is the Little devil Dress by Aery Soul, and that rips appart between waist and hip:

I tried fiddling around in the joint editor, but to be honest i don't know at all what to do there. Also copying joint centers from La Femme to the dress after conforming did not help. Any ideas? There are quite some older things I'd like touse for La Femme. And of course there ist the flash challenge *gg*

While I've seen this between the legs because poser doesn't like more than 2 groups together and there you ended up with 3, I've never seen it at the waist and hip. I'm assuming copied the joint zones since that usually gives more distortion. Where I'd try would be to make sure the skinning method is set to unimesh under the figure>skinning method and then make sure both joints have the bending checked on the properties tab.

This is a work-aroundwith fitting the dress to the morphed and posed La Femme and then spawning it as a prop, that works well enough. Must be in the process in generating a figure from the fitting session...

I've just tried the Little Dyvil dress with La Femme in the Fitting Room and I don't see any issues with the mesh tearing when posing.  I did use the Prefitter to transfer the La Femme morphs to the dress and then run it through the Fitting Room.  My recommendation is to Auto Group the dress when saving it as a figure.  Also, untick the body parts that are not relevant to the dress, for example, the Head, the forearms, the shins, etc.

hborre, I tried deleting unnneded body parts, didn't change a thing. Might try it with the prefitter, though (but where do I find that?)

On this page, you will find both the Prefitter-CR2 Basic and the La Femme add-on injector.  I've used it on numerous occasions with a rather good success rate.  And right now, both are on sale.

La Femme, posed, with the Little Dyvil Dress after a quick process with the Prefitter-CR2 to fit the dress to the model and then into the Fitting Room.  In the Fitting Room, make sure the object (Dress) has zeroed and keep deformations checked; run with the Prefit selection and create a new figure.  On some occasions, the Prefitter-CR2 fit could be exact so all you would need to do is just create the figure without prefitting the clothing.  Auto Grouping is essential, you want to match figure zones as closely as possible.

Happens.  How many times I've overlooked the obvious.

...and using the prefitter indeed did the trick. Beats me way it should work better than with just the fitting room, but I'll take it as it is. The fit is better, too, I think, it would just need some touch up with the morph tool in the crotch area.
