Subject: Looking for dForce layering help

Sunfire ( ) posted Mon, 14 March 2022 at 3:48 PM · edited Fri, 31 January 2025 at 6:51 PM

Is there a trick to layering clothing in dForce?

I have a product that has an under dress and an over dress, both dForce. Sometimes they look good, but most of the time the overdress ends up with parts of it inside the dress underneath. When I switch the collison object to the underdress I end up with my figure, in this case Dawn, poking through.

So I was hoping there were some tricks or things I should be doing but I'm not in order to make things look good without resorting to the mesh grabber tools, as not everyone will have that option.

Thanks in advance,

Sunfire

See the above image.  Make sure that the "Collision Layer" of the outer garment is greater than that of the inner garment.  If you are using D-Force Hair, normally it should have the highest "Collision Layer" value of all clothing on the figure.

Ahh! Thank you. I had wondered about that.
