Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 25 12:38 pm)
I'm in love with this character, can hardly wait for the shoes at least. I've been praying someone would come up with this dress! Eye make-up perhaps is a bit like a tropical fish with a hangover, but that's a minor quibble on a masterpiece. Best to stick with earth tones/smokey grays with maybe a touch of greenish and/or gold highlights for evening. Don't know exactly what goes best with beautiful blue velvet. My specialty was prosthetics, not cosmetics.
Desmond Morris, the anthropologist, seems to think that external mammaries developed as a biological echo of the rump itself, making the breasts the "Other cleavage." Why am I bothering to say this? Perhaps I'm just a pseudo-intellectual Poser. Sorry. It's late.

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking. He apologizes for this. He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.
Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below. His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.
Fantastic! I love Morris' work. So many great ideas! BTW, I'm being rude: I DO like the above image. Will the dress be posted? One of these days I'm going to manage to pull a scene complteley into RDS and use the Ray Tracing rendering engine to create reflections. Poser has always bothered me that way: no reflections. Still, in spite of any and all gripes about P4 and Meta, I would rather HAVE P4 than NOT.

The dress still needs work before it is ready for prime time, Poser has a lot of problems with skirts and dresses (and kilts), I've been working on getting a little more movement before the legs pop out of the material. I've also just gotten 3D Studio Max, so there is a tendency to want to re-do everything I've done in the dreaded RDS! I do all my serious renderings in Bryce, even though it is a pain bringing the parts in. I really, really like Bryce and Poser, it is a shame Poser is so buggy, and how none of MC stuff works togeather very well, and hopefully sombody will buy them and fix them (but I'm not holding my breath!). I have put the shoes up at my new Webpage, just now. http://victorian.fortunecity.com/impressionist/1030/
