Vue F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 13 6:58 am)
I don't understand ? When I change my camera to another position, the small preview window shows exactly what I have in my main cam window.
Atmospheres shows up immediately while adding clouds or whatever. The problems of the bad preview existed only in Vue 4 to Vue 4.03, but NEVER in Vue 4.05-02!
Maybe you should update.
Mike,I misunderstoud what was said. I thought you were speaking about the small preview window at right in the world browser... Yes, I agree with this one. But it doesn't disturb me very much. Me too, Win 98:-). It disturbs me much for the atmospheres, even the original atmospheres included in Vue don't come up as shown. Guitta
I'm 4.05.02 on w98v1, and maybe I should have made my syntax less twisted. It's the vob preview picture you get once you've created a vob and go to object|load to see the preview you just made. It isn't the same view as what you see in main window where you've posed for best view. It's irky because presentation is an important part of the creation to this old toad.It seems like it couldn't be hard for e-on's coders to just shackle it to the main camera so we could have control of the presentation ??
Yeah, that atmosphere one gets to me too. roadtoad, you could add that to the ongoing Vue 5 Wish List. I don't know if they're working on a Vue 5 yet, but before too long I'm planning on sending that along to them. Last year's wish list for Vue 4 ended up having something like 80% or more of our sugggestions put into Vue 4. That wasn't from here though, but rather, from the Yahoo Vue list.

I'm trying to get together some vobs to share, but I'd like to get a handle on how to position them before saving so the preview shows the best angle or specific detail; and the default main camera view I have isn't the angle that appears in the vob preview. Where is the vob camera located? -mikeowen
