I rarely blow my top, but now I really have to: How many of you will suddenly sto breathing, burst into flames, suffer a massive heart attack or otherwise just curlup and die if eveything related to Poser just went POOF? Hands? Why am I being such an ass? I make my living on computer. I make web pages and graphics so people pay me and I can feed my family without breaking out my old sevrice pieces and hunting food at the local zoo. If I have learned anything about the internet it's that sites like this and the (supposadly) dead PFO come and go. Some last years, some months - but it won't stop real life from getting up with you in the morning and biting you on the ass... Why don't everyone just sit back, contribute, download and relax? If it ALL goes away in the next hour something will come along to take it's place.. trust that good ideas don't stay dormant for long.

Well I doubt I will die but I will become very uncomfortable ... I make my living on a computer also. Currently, I am aiming more toward illustration than the Graphic Design I have been doing for the past few years with illustration on the side. That being said if Poser went poof altogether I would find it rough to do some work. Not impossible but definately more time consuming. Much of the time Poser is at the base of the illustration, sometimes as the final product but it is normally there in some degree if nothing but a pose to begin with. That being said I have to agree about the world not ending and other things coming along but just had to say that no poser would suck ... And Iwould probably go broke hiring models or break something jumping up and down in front of a mirror trying to see what this pose looks like at this angle .. be well

I know picnic but I took it with the the way it was worded ... Plus the forums have added a ton of stuff and techniques to my work .. Where else you gonna find a link to a poser Doctor Doom or a Moose? If I didn't have these places I would never have found them or tons of other stuff ... And why I picked Doctor Doom and a mose I have no clue but they are out there ..Later

mmm Dr Doom Perpetually Pissed.... we would never have had the pleasure of Legumes social commentary either.... and would all have been the poorer for it and I would have got bored of poser after a week. and instead of studying computing at uni I might be an accountant. And forget how to have fun. Then I'd have to put a bullet into my head (apologies to all those accountants out there) and after I've done that, some people believe that yes...the world would come to an end. Hey, this is like a family to me. I feel like my parents are divorcing and I'm in the middle of the custody battle. (Actually, sad to say, it was easier when my parents split, far less bitterness.) Yeah, life goes on, but grieving is normal. Let us softies have our cry until our eyes turn dry and we turn to other matters. I hope that if something does happen, we're given time to try to come up with a solution before the worst occurs.

Ikyoto, if everything Poser went poof for me, I would lose 2 hours plus a day on the internet, I would probably put my 3D programs back as "shelfware", get on with my life, and do more "actual reality" art that I am so good at.

My heart would be broken as I am in love with several Posettes...

I agree, I know it's been said a thousand times.... Stop...take a deep breath, And let's get on with having fun! Let the BIG guns work this out, All "WE" should have to worry about is posting our stuff and downloading the neat stuff....As for the people who won't let this go and keep posting Bull S*&T letters to "ALL" forums,,Thats easy... IGNORE THEM, DONT RESPOND TO THEM, AND BURY THEM WITH THE STUFF THAT SHOULD BE IN THESE FORUMS!!!!!!!!!!! Remember,,I Like so many am new, I look to all of you in "THE POSER and 3D Community" for help and guidance.. That is why they are here!!!!! Not wage WARS..The only Fight should be, "who can out draw, render, design, ETC... WHO....... We need both...Variety is the spice...remember???? So let's start the week off right, Let the big dogs go up on the porch and figure this out, We need to concentrate on ""us not "them"............

So aside from some discomfort no one would die and we know the floating community as a whole would find a way to communicate.... so lets all get back to a lack of politics and enjoy the resources we have, give what we can and get back to producing something for other folks to go ga-ga over!

Hey, politics is what I DO when I get Poser block. I think the best solution would be to have several Poser forum sites created in MY IMAGE! That'd keep me quiet for awhile.
