Hello everyone, I was broswing other section of Renderosity and came to someone by the name of Dart_Logice that says "..off to the secret temple where we all group-pee on Vue.) ;P -Darth_Logice" in the topic of discussion - "Freedom of Speech" Why is this person so negative about the program? I do not want to start a program war here but just like to know what other Vue user think. This is sort of thing is not good. Bill, Darth wasn't dissing the program as such. He was making a joke regarding a certain person's enthusiasm and propensity for taking things the wrong way at times. At least that was my understanding of the post. Kate

Darth was making a joke. Sometimes with typing itis hard to get humor to come across unless you do the haha or hehe thing, etc. Marge( for the most part we are a funny lot)

Joke... Yes but I must say that there's a problem with some graphists when you say you use an "amateur" soft. In France without 3Dstudio, you are nothing; and when you say that you use vue or Bryce or other large public soft most people smile. I think that behind the joke there is a kind of "condescendence" (I don't know english word)of that sort. Bye, Xav

If its a joke, it a real bad one. The people at e-on or many pro Vue user of the European community may not fine this funny. I am sure there are more user then we think there is now. We cannot estimate the number of user by the forum or Vue site we visit. I believe most do not communicate well in English. I have Italian friends here in the Asia and their English is real bad both wriiten and spoken. But this people are very creative with their graphics program. Its fine with me what he 'jokes' and I don't quite care how he feels about Vue. You don't have the program, you can't comment much or should even judge it. This goes for anyone, especially the Bryce user who things Bryce is all thing. Wait till you joint the Terragen list (I'm a member) and you know how good it is. I would recommend Bryce user to look at the artwork those hardcore Terragen has created...they just blown me away and I never think of Bryce at that time. I say, bad joke is no joke. Bill

Sounds like the same old story: Some times ago it was Mac versus IBM-PC, some time later came 3D-Studio versus Lightwave and now it seems Bryce versus Vue... People never learn. But one thing: Xav, I am just glad other people got the same problems I got. In Germany the "professionals" not only smile at you if you are not using 3D-Studio, the sneer and laugh at you. Just consider those guys as what they are: inflexible... Lanover
