So I guess this is Legume's way of saying just why he left PoserPros?

Legume ( ) posted Sun, 30 June 2002 at 12:10 AM

Nope. Just taking cheap shots for giggles.

I already started another thread, IB, but not here... Don't really feel like dragging my friends into that one. ;) Paul P.S.: I love you, too, Ironbear. =)

Ironbear ( ) posted Sun, 30 June 2002 at 1:21 AM

Nothing personal, it's just that some of us are trying to sell popcorn and beer in this forum. ;]

No offense taken, Bear... If you want to improve your sales, I can direct you to a good location for an outlet of Ironbear's Fresh Popcorn and Beer.

Ironbear ( ) posted Sun, 30 June 2002 at 1:52 AM

I think I've scouted that potential outlet already... ;]

I love you, virtualsite... Good to see you posting at rosity again. =) Paul

VirtualSite ( ) posted Sun, 30 June 2002 at 4:10 AM

Not likely you will. nothing, i-bear, could be easier...

Entropic ( ) posted Sun, 30 June 2002 at 4:21 AM

I appreciate your input, virtualsite, but I'm afraid your not speaking the truth. First, I haven't left PoserPros yet, I'm just done dealing with you. I never claimed to have any of the knowledge you're claiming about profit and loss and what not. I simply said that Mehndi and Russ are doing well to sale freeware and a home PC to DAZ. Furthermore, my only claim that I didn't intend to attack Mehndi personally, was made here. And I won't outright attack her here. You see, there are rules against personal attacks at Renderosity... Rules which you in fact, have quite blatantly violated with your post. As for post #59, I'm not sure what you're trying to say... and I'm not sure I care. Cheers! Paul

Legume ( ) posted Sun, 30 June 2002 at 4:26 AM

And YOU, VS, and Ron, and Ironbear and Mehndi and JeffH, and Chuck and Russ and X2000, and Poopi and Poppi and Turtle, and Jesus loves us all! Let's all just HUG, OK? C'mere, ya adorable bastiches, I promise I won't touch yer bathing suit area.

Entropic ( ) posted Sun, 30 June 2002 at 4:40 AM

Dammit Legume!!! I was hoping you'd touch my bathing suit area! gag sorry... just the thought...

FishNose ( ) posted Sun, 30 June 2002 at 5:52 AM

Oh, crikey, you lot are priceless!!!! But this religion crap - I see references to Mormons (the Utah connection), to Legume's thing and to Allah... Hey people, try life without a crutch, it's so much more fun! Religion (choose any one you like) is all humbug, all mythology, tradition, rules & restrictions, all ritual, all hatred/us & them. Let the top down, breath some REAL air instead, get by without that shit. I suspect though that Leg's version of 'religion' is more tongue in cheek, though.... cut the suit to fit yourself rather than vice versa the way all traditional religions function. :o] Did I tread on any toes? Oh dear.... :] FishNose

Mehndi ( ) posted Sun, 30 June 2002 at 5:59 AM

{{{{however, this last bit is way over the top. when you were here, you moderated the copyright forum....you know the rules. you could have given some explanation YOURSELF, early on in the day. no...why???? because, you know in this new bit...Daz...has no legal leg to stand on. they failed to foresee new products...and, hon...if ya snooze ya lose....you can't then, just change the terms of the contract.}}}} Poppi, I am not trying to be obtuse, but I honestly do not understand what you are clearly angry about. Could you please explain this to me further? What is "over the top"? And what has the fact that I used to moderate the old copyright forum have anything to do with anything happening now? Or to do with DAZ? What was early in the day? I just am not following you here? As to your enquiries on our quality testing guild idea, necessarily due to building and working on PoserPros, this has naturally been put on the back burner for now. Someday I still hope to pursue this dream, since I believe a 3rd party quality seal will be a valuable asset to many brokers who are new and do not have a track record of success and would like a way to show that their stuff is good stuff :)

Poppi ( ) posted Sun, 30 June 2002 at 6:32 AM

okay....sorry if i was unclear....i just ain't a 2 martini at dinner kind of gal... i do think you know enough about copyright law to have addressed some of the issues that flew around all day, yesterday....especially, in the thread by Thip, where it was merely a question of 3rd party modellers using vicki or michael as a base. i don't think some of the issues revolving around the tailor and all its implications can be covered, as yet...this is such a grey area because it does transfer morphs...which are part of cr2s and dealt with in the daz license...but, the daz license does not cover anything on using a mesh as a base model, ONLY to create an entirely new mesh. i just think you could have said something about this, and calmed alot of the folks down.

x2000 ( ) posted Sun, 30 June 2002 at 7:57 AM

Oh Paul, hope you're wearing heavy boots, 'cause those little dogs can chew at your ankles something fierce. Just think VS, you started this thread! None of this would have been possible without your contribution. What a wonderful service you've performed for your dear friends Russ and Mehndi. A few more like you and they won't need any enemies... Now if you'll excuse, I have a meeting with Curious Labs to work out the terms of their possible acquisition of the Renderosibee, my hopes, dreams, and ideals, and possibly my socks. Wish me luck!:)

smerc ( ) posted Sun, 30 June 2002 at 9:45 AM

I am going to lock this thread. If you wish to start another thread go ahead, but lets try and stay civil. And Legume leave those poor mormons alone :)
