Subject: A memo for everyone...

Calm down folks, I think this has maybe been taken to a different level than was intended...The way I read the message was that if a buyer takes the time out to increase the value of your product, by adding a piece of feedback (Yes it does add value as the more feedback left, the more attractive it makes it to potential future buyers; even if the feedback is negative it adds value, as it gives the merchant a different perspective of their product, allowing them to maybe change portions of their package to improve upon it)then the least the merchant can do is say thanks. I took this one step further tonight and took the time out to email everyone on my buyers list (If you didnt get an email, I'm sorry :( but it means you need to update your renderosity contact details or empty your mailbox - in either case if you've been missed out IMemail me for further info) and say thankyou, on the whole the exercise was a pleasure, as everyone I got in contact with was happy to see a merchant take time out and say thanks. Directed at Buyers: One thing I would add again is remember the merchantbuyer relationship is a symbiotic one...one cannot survive without the other. As a merchant I (we) need your feedback to improve on existing products and to help plan for new ones. which in turn benefits you the buyers with better quality products as merchants begin to understand and cater to what buyers want. Finally a note to merchants: Take a little time todaytommorrow later this week even, and say thanks to those who have left feedback on your products, it doesnt take much time, it improves your relationship with the buyers and really gives your ego a good massage :) and believe me I know how tense you begin to feel after hours infront of a PC trying to get those last little details right, how a good massage relaxes you... VID (now off to put a rather blunt nose back to the grindstone)

I'm sorry that ratteler holds manners is such low esteem. They may seem like a hassle some times but they are one of the things which maintain a civil society. I'm not a PC maven by any means but there are better ways to express disapproval than calling a discussion 'stupid.' The opinion is certainly valid but the means of getting it across leaves something to be desired The signatures on the thank you notes I get from Bill Gates seem suspiciously mass produced but I appreciate getting them anyway.

I think after 9-11, we all saw that youse guys are capable of a lot more than your legendary rudeness (half of which I suspect is meant to impress the tourists :-) I believe you meant no harm and appreciate your explaining. It's easy for people to get the wrong impression with this impersonal medium. From now on, I'll imagine a Brooklyn accent and take a little of the old NYC brashness into account. Apologies if you hail from one of the other boroughs and eat Brooklynites for lunch. Take care.
