Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 26 1:43 pm)
nu-be, that was my same, exact thought! ;-) My suggestions: Shorten her neck, it doesn't look right. (Standard Poser problem.) The pose isn't bad, but the hair needs tweaking: it isn't paying attention to gravity. You may want to rotate it downward. It won't look right on a normally lit model, but it will work for silhouette. I'd change the color of the rocks to a grey-blue. Not only would it look more realistic for lighting, but it would highlight the setting sun even more. You might want to zoom in a bit more, so that the female is larger. She'd create a nice framing effect with the sun in the middle. (Composition-wise, she's placed well, but I think the picture would add more impact if zoomed in more.) The sun/water is defintely done well. This is a good start.
get rid of some of the haze or blend it closer to the sky color. the original post did look like the girl on 18 wheeler flaps. too bad you don't still have the pz3 or hadn't copied the pose. if you were to bend the legs at the knee a little you'll have it. Then when you model a semi trailer you'll be good to go for the figure on the flaps. - TJ
