Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 10 10:00 pm)
The poses are always per character, the pose file will not save any relationship to other characters in the scene. When you open up a new scene and apply the poses, the characters will stay where they are in 3D space with the pose applied. You will need to move them together in order to get a "couples" pose to look as it did in the previous scene.
I wish I could find the thread I read awhile back on posing figures together---there was something about the importance of the hip when you wanted to get two characters together......? Maybe you parent the hips?? Not sure how or if you would transfer it to a new scene, though----? (I'll be following this thread, too; glad you asked)

What saxon said. :)Saving the pose to the Library does not save the "Body" information at all. To pose couples make sure your body X, Y, and Z Trans are at "0" and do all your posing from the hip.
I have a small posing tutorial that I made as part of a larger tutorial for PoserPros posted at the link above.

Dumb, dumb dumb-- that's me. I've been moving body all this time to position never from the hip-- that's why you get older, to get smarter, right? Thank you for the tips. Emily Lisa! Great tutorial and thank you for the tips about clothing, I always get a great nude figure and then popthrough on the conformed clothes.

Waht to say - I was on a small vacation - that's the reason for my late reply ... You can have a look at the link - it's all described there. I bought Mike, nice guy, and I've been working on some couples poses. I save the poses and when I reuse them in another drawing each character takes the pose but not in relationship to each other (relationships are a challenge) Do I need to reset something before I save or apply the pose so the characters will pose together? Thanks in advance for your attention.
