Had to render it in Bryce, couldn't get this much in poser, is it worth persevering with. No postwork. Dresses from poserfashion, men clothed by poserworld, textures mine.

This is cool - Poser would have a fit with this many figures! :) Have to ask though - there's a strange reflection/shadow on the floor between the table and the couple in the middle of the pic (she's a blonde). Can't find a point of origin for it in the picture except for the bottle (maybe?).

The amount of work and composition is terrific, most definitely continue! A slight letdown is some horizontal shadow lines across the figures and something unidentifiable on the floor forward of the table? Perhaps a Bryce user could give some helpful lighting advice in that area or you might be able to try rendering with the Vue d Esperit 2 program on the cover disc of the latest Digit magazine. Keep at it, I'll be keen to see your finished result. Tommy.

The light is coming through a window which is out of view, just giving shadows of the glazing bars across the scene. I was sort of aiming for one of those wonderful summer early evenings, with a westering sun creating shadows. Obviously it is not working well.

It is working really well Chohole - it's just that reflection/shadow. Maybe you can turn down / turn off shadows coming thru the window? Would work better because we (as viewers) have no idea the window is there anyway. Just my 2 cents worth - but don't give up on it, it is a good piece. Guarie

It looks nice! I like the little details you put in the scene. The wall on the left looks a little bit empty. Maybe you could put some paintings there? Or, what if there was a window on that wall and that's where the light would come from? That would explain the shadows on the floor. Of course, I know there's a door with a character peeking in there (which is a really nice touch), and you can see that there's another room there, so I'm not sure if that would really work well...

Great job!!! My mind boggles at the amount of posing , clothing, hair etc etc.... I don't think I could have handled the frustration. LOLOL

Good work. Lots to look at and you kind of wish you could dolly through the room and listen in on the conversations. Is that your label on the wine bottle? It takes the patience of a saint to pose so many characters... Thanks, Q

Just two tiny things (because this is really spectacular): the bottle looks like it's about to fall off the table. You might want to pull it back. And the shadow it casts on the floor makes everything else look out of scale -- in RL, that shadow would have diffused, if not outright disappeared from the effect of the other light sources. I think you can lose it and not miss a thing. I might pump up the dancers' reflections a tad and, as someone else suggested, put some paintings on the laft wall (big ones, to completely fill the space, as they did in that period). But good job!
