Here's a quick render from the cloth room using a scan of my sweatshirt as the texture. ('Hi res square' from p5 props section for the cloth, prop's section box for the base - which is using the included granite 3d node, ran the cloth simulation for 20 frames, used the last frame, about 30 seconds to render on Athlon 1800 w/768MB ram, firefly production settings). -ab

So, tell me something, ab. Can you now export that cloth as an .obj file? I'm beginning to get confused about what you can and can't export from poser, and until my copy comes, I can't try it. Looks good. I like that granite too. mac

yes, you can unclotify and export it as a regular object.

Great picture. I have a little suggestion. You mi8ght want to use little tranparent on your sweatshirt for more realistic. Waldoo

"yes, you can unclotify and export it as a regular object. " Actually, you can use the clothified version by exporting and using it as a morph target. Kupa mentioned something like that before, but I haven't tried yet... Too much to learn, too much to teach, too little time. ;) Paul

If the Materials Room works anything like the Materials Lab in Bryce, if you add the texture to everything that has a colour (diffuse, specular, ambient) you get really sharp & clear colours without having loads of light sources slowing things down. Rob
