And the material is like this. Why is the color so different? Can someone tell what I need to do?

I would check your lighting. The color of the lights as well as placement and strength.

The lighting will not show correctly in the document windows, only show in the render ? I don't have this happen in poser4, and got this in poser 5.. :(

quixote, what should I do with the depth cuing ?

Jcleaver ( ) posted Wed, 09 October 2002 at 2:53 PM

The pose window can only give you an idea of what the lighting will look like. The reason it doesn't affect P4 is that P4 doesn't have the rendering engine that P5 has. If you were to use the P4 renderer within P5, you should get expected results.

I got that sort of thing when depth cueing was on. It looks alot like what you're going through. Try turning it off and see. Hope this helps.

Jcleaver, I have tried the P4 renderer, but still the same. I don't get this in P4, but I have this in P5. And quixote, I can't find the ' depth cueing ' . What is that and where I can trun it off?

In the pose window. Go to Window on the menu bar. Make sure "Document tools" is checked. At the right of the document window, you will find 3 nippleisf buttons. From the top it is the 4th button, before collisions and shadow. In your manual: page 138.
