Lamest update yet.  Is there really anything that helpful or new?  The audacity of eon.

Vue's pricing scheme is a scam to say the least.   Be careful when buying because upgrading & updating is very limited.

The render is faster because they find new ways to cleverly hide more grain.  That is why aa settings need to be increased so dramatically.

eon has problems listening to its user base since version 4 & on.  Just accept it or move on because it is unlikely to change.  Poser's renderer has come a long way.  Last project I skipped vue all together because it looked better & was easier than vue.  But vue has that certain something.

Yeah, eon pricing went berserk when they went hollywood.  I think that was around version 6.  The maintenance scam shortly came out adding insult to injury.  Most of the programs I have allow upgrade prices regardless of the version owned NOT eon.  Software companies also have discounts, sales, & special NOT eon.  It is/was a great program but the price sudden price hike, it is ruined.

I had a chance to make a 6 sec animation the other day & it took 50hrs to render with shadow anomalies & flickers.  Each png had to be fixed in photoshop before the animation went out the door, so eon has really lost me as a customer unless they change their greedy ways.

It looks like matte shadow to me which is a great plus for vue.   It only took 6.5 versions to put this feature finally in, Yippie!

The added trees sure make using vue easier. 

I remember when incremental updates were FREE!  Alas, those days have past.

Problems are bad.  If vue has problems, then the logic follows.  Unless problems are good?

Bruno, your opinion is not the only one that matters.  Give us a break.  We want honest critical opinions about vue not the fanboyisms .  You seem unable to criticize vue, but freely criticize people.  People matter more than software. Leave the ad hominem attacks out of the critiques of vue.   Please, stop instigating & attacking people on this forum for having a different opinion than yours.   It is getting way old.

I find honest opinions important because I am long time vue user who stopped upgrading Vue when eon started with the incremental maintenance scam updates.  I believe this be a very bad policy for eon & eon users.  I plan to update when Vue 15 is announced which is only 3.5 years away.  I need to know the history of the most stable vue version to make sure I am getting my money’s worth.  I need critical opinions to make this decision.  I appreciate these opinions.  I don’t need wasteful, antagonizing, instigating posts with no value & only praise.  Please stop with the uselessness.  It is not cute  & you are not a 5yr old.

Jesus never existed.  There are no historical records of him at all.  There are some bs bible books written hundreds of years later but that doesn't help the case at all.   Get a clue, Jesus is made up.  The are no Roman records of him at all.  There are known forgeries of people trying to make a paper trail for Jesus but that only proves the case that Jesus never was.  So this whole thread is moot.  But the render of mythical Jesus looks awesome.  Nice job.

Seems like the OP just wants attention & validation, when all of the answers lie within. 

Beginners yoga is much better than the treadmill.  Alternate nostril breathing works very well for headaches.  Not straining the eyes with computers, tv, & reading will stop the muscle strain that causes headaches.  The PC can not be ruled out if you still have headaches.  They are just wrong in saying so.  Your body is a book that only you can read.  It is your soul's life to read it.  Read it well for it is your destiny to do so.  Take control of your life.  Learn about yoga & meditation.  Most doctors are idiots working in small paradigms.  If you must do eye strain work take a break every 20 minutes.  Do yoga for your eyes.  Don't rely on idiots with MRI's to tell you what you should already know.

Exercise, Diet, Massages, Alternate Breathing Exercises, Yoga, Meditation & no computers will make your headaches go away.
