this is something I recently did with vue 5i

maybe it´s not as realistic as a terragen-render and there is still much potential in vue that I didn´t use yet...but I think vue is a very good choice because of its easy interface....the right programm for hobbyists like me :)

well, I can answer you this question personally ;).....I just imported the wolf into vue without adjusting its textures correctly.....you need to correct the highlights and the bump in vue manually...but because of to many vue-crashes and the deadline I decided to leave the wolf-model the way it was

well if eon is announcing vue 6 on their hp, I guess there will be part 6 ;)
but I agree with you that there should be some really new and interesting stuff....also would like to see some new mats and models...not that old stuff that comes with vue since ages ^^
