Which is why they are clearly family of all the other Milleniums. Are they better/more versatile than the "old" preschoolers?

You manage to go beyond that typical Victoria look, and that makes these characters irresistable.

Thread: An open "Call to Artists" | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Never ever pay to get your work exposed or published. You get the "honour" they the cash. Happens also in real world. If you have to pay for a show (rent the gallery, lighting, opening, printwork,...) don't exhibit. Tougher when you start, but good for your self-respect. And sorry: R. does not have the "right" reputation to impress people and find buyers or collectioners. For that, go to cgtalk.com and see their contests and their publications (ballistic). You don't pay and you get in touch with real patrons and commissions.

Go tell any mac user that his puter sucks because Apple has very intensive and also often very agressive advertising campaigns. Ahh...we'll see. And yesterday, that plugin to transpose qPoser files to C4D was announced. Works with Poser5. If I remember well, it should have been included. And in a few weeks, it'll be probably useless in Poser6. Life can be cruel.

Thread: Converting .bum to something else? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Bum maps can be opened in Photoshop when you change the extension, if I remember well, to .bmp . What you get is a kind of normal map, or a coloured bumpmap in photoshop with an added dimension. Turning this into greyscale is not easy I guess as greyscale bumpmaps cannot do what normal maps, or pseudo normal maps can.

Anyone read or reading Rodney Stark's "For the Glory of God"? (Princeton University Press, and a superb overview of the relationship between church and science) oh...yes, I want ByteMe0K back as I love her skins.

Thread: ...HACKER (S) Working the Renderosity Marketplace? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I do not browse with IE. I do not have Norton. My own puter is very well protected, so I am not worrying about something that might be installed on my puter through the MP. I am shure that R. does everything possible to protect their servers, and that they have the necessary specialists that can block 99,9% of the eventual attacks. Yet it is not true that one of the biggest Poser-related vendor site with many customers paying either with a credit card or Paypal would not be interesting for someone with dishonest intentions. I am not saying someone got through the safety, but I see no problem in someone warning that something bizarre happened and asking for a second opinion. We all have to be attentive.

Thread: ...HACKER (S) Working the Renderosity Marketplace? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It's always the easiest solution to say that people need to check their own puters instead of warning that they met with something bizarre here at R. (or another site).
My puter is free of Adware, I have no Trojans, viruses or whatever.
And I see no reason whatsoever to try and ridiculise someone who starts a thread like this and asks for a second opinion (because to him also this seems unlikely).
It is very cheap to try and make fun about it.

In all your renders there is a dark vertical line on the centre of her nose. Afaik, this is a shadow problem.

Victoria 1 was in fact from Zygote... I didn't know Daz took it over.

Thread: The G.I.R.L. ...possibly the stupidest thing I ever bought :-) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hey Wolf, I did not buy the Girl, but me too I have several items (let us limit ourselves to Poser stuff or it becomes embarrassing) that I wonder why I bought them, or that have realy silly texturemaps or bodymaps and some transparancy instead of geometry.
That's life... I expect a lot from Seraphira's Kaimira though... http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?ForumID=12413&Form.ShowMessage=2081253

Thread: Did you know Hispeed net users have more skills than dialup users? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
What a dsl and a cable bring is SSSOOOO much information that many eople just download and download but just cannot find the time to use, try out, read or watch what they have downloaded. Provided there's no virus inside of course. Because there is always more. And more. and more. A larger HDD does not have more "little grey cells". Like porf. Confuzedius wrote: "Someone who does not specialize knows less and less about more and more untill, finally, he knows nothing about everything." Wise man he was.

This said, even when one is not a member of the pc, this is much cheaper than before. And UTC can do its job for V2 and Steph. Download size: 16MB a piece for V3 and M3, freak (if you have that char) less than 10MB.
