Yes, it some kind of lighthouse maybe. But it's made of wood and has no moving parts, so it doesn't "work" in any way. It has lights, yes , but only to illuminate the thing not for any use for the ships. Only for visitors. proud of your heritage ? well, I don't know ... I recreate what I see and since I'm in germany there is nothing else... When I look of of my window there is a very old church ... wait and see. Maybe one day !!

The Trade Fair tower is part of Frankfurt skyline. Along with other skycrapers. Because of his unique shape you can spot him from many miles away.
