Ahhhh, I was wondering why I've not seen it in the list on the Poser Software site that shows what's included. I'm seeing something else in the top right corner of that page.Hello.
I have fixed this on the page. The product was input incorrectly. The ID was one number off. Sorry about that.
I'm assuming that's because you "fixed" it?

Actually @lakes123, the images you posted above are the "renders" of the shaders you used.
What @Y-Phil would like to see is a screenshot of the "Material Room" setup like the screenshot he posted above, which will show exactly which shader nodes you used, such as the Albedo, Roughness, Metallic and Normal nodes he has connected to the main PhysicalSurace root node in his setup.

That's very natural looking, especially since he's wearing eyeglasses, which often have their own issues with lighting.The lacrimal is difficult to texture so that it looks real. Too much SSS and it glows, too much PBSDF and it looks like plastic. So I spent about 3 hours yesterday playing with nodes to get it to look right in a variety of lighting.

Thank you! Thank you! I was going to post asking what mipmapping was. I've seen it mentioned before, but had no idea what it referred to. Now I know!*Mipmapping, I'm sure you've heard of it, but if you're not sure what it is, it's a texture processing function of render engines to avoid texture flickering. Essentially it blurs [technically its scales down] the texture the further the object is from the camera. Most render engines usually have options to adjust mipmapping settings, strength, distance, etc, but those are typically "power user" options, and come with some caveats

Thanks. I've been thinking about learning that aspect of blender next. now, if I could just figure out how to update to the 36 hour days so I have time to do it allI know exactly what you mean. NEVER enough hours in the day.

Thanks for the hot chocolate sir, it's been cold here lately, and it was a perfect solution for dealing with the colder temps.Quietly passing Miss B a cup of hot chocolate, he says, "Bryce is still on my PC and I still use it from time to time. I recently bought the latest version on Poser, but have yet to find the time to play with it. Nice to see someone getting back into 3D though.
If you were referring to me when you stated "Nice to see someone getting back into 3D though", I never left 3D. I just moved on to other software such as Poser, and Blender, though I don't really do final renders in Blender . . . just modeling.

I started in 3D with Bryce 4, upgraded to Bryce 5, and eventually found the DAZ 3D store, which is where Bryce is sold. I've been a member here since 2000, and I think there may have been more Bryce goodies here back then, but most of what I've used over the years (though not lately) I found over on the DAZ 3D forums and store.
BTW, the latest version now is 7.1. I don't have it installed on this laptop, which is only 2 1/2 years old, mostly because I don't have the time to do much in the way of fun renders. Hmmm, maybe I should make some time.
