Thread: Polymage site not so good news :( | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Neftis,
Before you leave, can we still make morphs, characters, and clothes for Elle? I trully hope so, as I did have a few things I was making for her. I am saddened to see that you're shutting things down. -Starkdog
Thread: WIP - New V3 Texture/Character - (KARIN) comments appreciated! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi Sheila,
I really like the smooth, pale, porcelin-like complexion. I also like the way that there is a smooth transition between her lips, and the rest of the skin around her mouth. I've seen too many "sharp" edged lips on many characters. Keep up the awesome work. -Starkdog

Ah,
I get it now :glare: . I had thought that this was some late night caffeine overloaded posting :m_bouncy: . -Starkdog

To the OP,
Please do not drink the whole pot of Starbucks© coffee before you post. I ran into this error myself. I was saying things 2 weeks before I even thought of saying those things, while I was scrubbing the grout in my bathroom at 4:30 in the morning. Cheers, -Starkdog
Thread: Poser for CNC Routing Work ??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Attached Link: http://www.mastercam.com/Products/Art/default.aspx
If you are looking to carve a "Poser based relief" into a block of material, I'd suggest looking into a job shop using MasterCAM X, especially MasterCAM ART plugin. This is one way, however it is an expensive proposition, as a 5-axis CNC will run you about $100,000. Not to mention that MasterCAM is quite expensive. If you are looking to make a 3D figurine, save the scene, and bring it into Shade. I do know the Shade does have an export to STL function. I can't recall if it is in version 7, 7.5, or now 8. E-Frontier would have the details. You could then send the STL file to several places on the net, who will either use 3D printer or true Stereolithography techniques to develop your project. Can you tell that I am a Manufacturing Engineer :b_tonguewink: ? -StarkdogThread: Need Help With The New Daz Fair Fae Hair | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
WHOA!!
At first, I thought that was a large hoop earring, then I realised that it was just a circle :b_tonguewink: . You might want to try a magnet to pull that piece of hair outwards. I don't have this hair yet, but I love your render. I hope this helps. -Starkdog

Acadia,
It is the Poser Background tutorial. Thanks for the link to Dr. Geep's new site. -Starkdog
Thread: clothes room | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi,
It looks like you might need to add in a few drape frames for the wrinkles in the dress mesh to unfurl(sp). One thing I might add, is if the dress hangs to the floor, be sure to add in GROUND in the collide settings box. Also, uncheck the ignore foot collision setting. This will cause the dress to ball up all around the feet and ankles. BTW, that looks like a very pretty dress. Not to be nosey, but which model is the dress for? Thanks, -Starkdog
Thread: Gloria morphs - any interest? | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
WOW!!! I don't have Gloria yet, but those are some amazing morphs. I might have to get Gloria just to experiment with the many faces possible with this collection. Thanks, -Starkdog

Gordon,
This is really cute. I printed out a copy to take to my cardiologist next week. Now, if you can only make a cartoon depiction of "acute angina"!!! - Starkdog
Thread: The Girl next door. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi,
Once you apply GND2 morphs to V3, go back to the Characters menu, and select "Blackeyes". This will install Blackhearted's eyes into V3, eliminating the "undead" effect. Then, you can go ahead and apply different eye textures. I hope this helps. -Starkdog
Thread: Any new Poser FEMALE figures coming? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Do not forget, that there is also Elle by Neftis, Farris by Kirwyn, and PHFemale by Sixus1Media. I have and use all of them. I really like using different ranges of figures, as it is way to easy to see a render and tell that it is V3 in a canned pose. -Starkdog
Thread: OT- Looking for website creation program | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
WOW!!! Thanks for all of the feedback. I do have NVU, but never really looked at it too much. To me, it struck me as a website content manager, rather than a website maker. I will look back into it, as I currently have it installed. Thanks again, -Starkdog
Thread: A long Cheogsam for Glamorous Jessi | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hey Jim,
That looks GREAT!!! I have just re-installed an older version of GJ; and I'm about to carry over some items I made for Jessi to GJ. Which version is the newest? Thanks, -Starkdog
