I Have to disagree with the right touch of slight native american morph i find the vickie model much more appealing than posette, i dont have any third party morphs for posette but her defaults are waaaay to much like a plastic mannequin Mocap

Your damned right its possible!! i used that very technique to simulate a"glow" on this lightsaber (see link 380k mpeg) to me, the new motion blur feature ALONE justifies the purchase price of the propac Mocap

No problem , I took a Bryce rock assigned it a bumpycloud volume texture with a green specular color and placed a green omni light ( the round one i guess) in the scene to cast more of a green hue on the nebula. experiment youll find an effect you like Mocap

Hey adamite those renders are awesome im my view the true power of bryce is in its ability to import organic models and render them with the awesome bryce materials here is some art in progress i am working for a poster i wiil be printing on our 1200 DPI HP image plotter at the graphics company where i am chief designer (after hours ya know what i mean)

speaking of fantasy props I highly recommend getting a subcription to 3DWorld magazine-www.3dworldmag.com (no I dont work for them) if you have the propack and can now import lightwave objects or if you are a lightwave user like myself you will find a wealth of free props on the cover CD each month usualyy in .3ds or .LWO format Trust ME!!

No Mac vs PC flame War Please!!! I am a long time mac user who has actually grown up and lives in the real world I work as an in house graphics Guru at a digital printing and design company. I use Macs and Win 98/NT machines Daily. trust me It $$$pays$$ to be an all around "Computer Guy" rather than just a Mac Or PC specialist I actually found an old abandoned PC in the trash room of my building (pentuim -s 133mhz) I reformated the drive using "fdisk" under DOS installed win 98 installed a used sound card from a friend to plugin speakers and my kids now have something to play those Disney learning CD roms and my son (age 5) is getting pretty good in old bryce 3D on the PC What was upsetting about Lypsynch's "Mimic" is that they strung us poser mac users along for over a year with promises that "A Mac version is coming soon" only to finally admit that the promise was Bullsh*t!! At least the ,PC only, gaming companies never botherd to lie about porting their product to the Mac OS only to kick us in the teeth later. Mocap

Burn in Hell Mimic........... Burn in Hell!! Someone in this forum wrote a python script recently that was making a little mechanical arm attached to his PC duplicate the movement of his poser figures arm as he posed the arm on screen I wonder if a python script could be written to automate lipsync on the Mac HMMmmmmmmm? If you are on a Macintosh and have the propack and lightwave 6.5 as i do, FORGET IT!!! wont work!! Curious labs missed the mark on that one. you still have the option exporting your poser meshes as lightwave objects and rigging them the good old fashioned hard way in LW ( wieght maps Arrghh!!)
