No problem, go to the Poser Free Stuff section and do a seach for the morph manager. This is an application that you can use to open up Poser files and figure files and delete, move, and combine morphs. Now this will only allow the transfer of morphs from one identical geometry to another. (For example the business man and the p4 nude male have the same head, you can copy morphs from one to the other) Read the help documentation included with the Morph manager.

Traveler has already made a mimic compatable dog. From what I can recall he was involved with beta testing. Email him at Morph World 2.0 http://morphs.bbay.com/main.html Let me know if you are lucky enough to get a copy. As for the morphs you can use all the phoneme mouth shapes, Mouth 0, Mouth F, Mouth M, Tongue T, Tongue L, Blink Left, Blink Right. It can also accomidate brow movements but right now I don't have mimic in front of me so I can say which morphs are used.Thread: A Matter of Gravity | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

I can't stress enough to download MASA's PAE (Poser After Effects) program. This is a program which handles the soft body motion for animation and for still shots for the P4NF. It includes the PAE exe plus NeneLite, a remarkable verison of Nene by Yamato which has special chest and hip morph targets. All it requires is a Behavioral file export (between 10-75 frames). PAE handles the rest and makes a cr2 file that utilizes special morphs found in NeneLite. Not only does this handle breast and hip movement but it also handles motions for the ponytail. Download yours today at. http://www.eurus.dti.ne.jp/~masasi/Service/indexE.html And grab the SuperSuit too. It has the same morph targets in the chest and conforms using EMC.Thread: realistic eyes??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It really depends on what effects you are trying to capture. If you are shooting for realism then for the most realistic sclera and iris I suggest using PhotoShop and making a detailed texture map for the eye. You can find detailed shots of the human iris on iridology web pages. If you need more info about mapking texture maps check out the Tutorials to the right. One thing that helps is to replace the eyes of the poser character. I worked for about 4 months on making my own detailed eye prop to replace the ones on poser characters. Even if you use Nerd's or Bushi's creations you'll may want to devise your own textures. These guys have made smart props with are parented to the existing poser character eye. These add the effect of a transparent cornea, which when hit by lights in the right angle will leave highlight. Take a look at my work http://www.3ddude.com/Gallery/HumanEye1.jpg rendered in bryce4 http://www.3ddude.com/Gallery/HumanEye2.jpg rendered in poser4 Let me know what you are trying to achieve and I'll try to help.
Thread: What is the state of JCM's? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

I produced the first set for the P4NF and P4NM months ago, find them at Poser Free Stuff and search for JCM or go to the download section of www.3Ddude.com In reguards to your message I've been lazy.. very lazy, (I've been spending my time on large freelance projects)perhaps this weekend I'll work on the Michael and Vicky JCM set. Check out (PAE) Poser After Effects at http://www.eurus.dti.ne.jp/~masasi/Service/indexE.html JCM alone could not handle realistic softbody secondary motion with effects like gravity. Hence JCM can't produce breast movement with the proper dynamics. This is where The Man MASA steps in. PAE is a program that imports up to 75 frames of .bhv animation. This handles secondary motion on the female chest. This can also be set up to handle things like ponytails. PAE allows you to to create a pose file that can be overlapped with the motion you exported. PAE uses a a modified version of the Nene character (this is a p4nf with youthful anime like look) It has special morphs built in for the movement. I found it useful to combine my JCM figure with NeneLite morphs in MorphManager. You end up with a dynamic female character that produces some really great action sequencesThread: New fem warrior WIP | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

Go to www.zygote.com go shopping, check out the Michael and Victoria sections, each have free downloads of the texture map templates for the head and the body. What is nice about this is zygote has labeled what mapping section is which.

Thread: Anybody have or know how to reduce the polygon count? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Depends what programs you have. I've tried doing decimation in programs like 3D Studio Max and Amorphium with pretty good results. Amorphium is about $100 and will reduce your poly count in half, but it lacks controls.

Thank you for the info Chris. This is IT! This finishes where JCM ends. Man I now will be able to learn the technique and get figures that can rival the Maya Nurbs based guys
Thread: P.A.E.??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Okay my curiosity is peaked and I can't seem to find any info on this so-called P.A.E system. Is this some external application compatible with poser meshes? Is this some sort of joint controlled morph system? Just interested because everyone is being so vague, and because I still want to reproduce gravity effects on poser figures. Any info like an address would be great, thanks.
