For such a popular site, how come I've never heard of this site anywhere outside this arena. This is such a huge community of artists and people, I'm very surprised it hasn't been noticed by larger business types. lol. I'm actually curious about the drive space issue. I can't even imagine how much drive space you guys are using to host all these pictures. What I was thinking as a possible helper to this would be to limit how many pictures one could have on their gallery. It seems to me that there are some artistst that post multi pictures a day. Perhaps limiting how many pics on could have on here would help save space on the drives, allowing for an animation gallery. Or perhaps limiting space to a size amount. Ie. you have 2 megs of space to post all your pics... Dragontales

I agreet that final fantasy will probably make shrek look very cartoonish, but all the same, I think the makers of shrek were going for a somewhat cartoonish feel, as said above. I still say though, that nothing I do could even compare with it...yet...(I can still have hope..lol) Dragontales

If you are referring to the seems that you get when you apply the textures in max, that is a problem caused by the exporting filters in Poser. Instead of Exporting to 3ds format, export the figure to a .obj file format. This will require you to get a .obj import plugin for max if you don't already have one. For some reason the poser 3ds export doesn't work right. If you do decide to go with the .obj, some things I have found is that it's much easier to deal with the objects in max if you export each item separetly. i.e the figure itself, then the shoes, then the hair...etc. Otherwise you may not be able to import correctly. At least this was the case in my experiences. Good Luck. Dragontales

Thank god for large hard drives. I have a bunch of stuff that I started. A character that made it though most of the physical creation, but now that it's time to clothe her, I can't find anything fitting, or create any myself. A couple of scenes in max some textures I was creating. Ah well, it goes on. Thought I was the only one though. Dragontales

Back when I discovered the out of memory error message, I was able to find out (thanks to the great folks here) that for some dumb reason, that is poser's default error message. Chances are, you are not really out of memory, but that poser can't find a file, or one is corrupted. For me, the problem was a missing .obj file. However it popped up again, when I had a corrupt cr2. Hopefully the next installment of poser will correct this message. Dragontales

What I do is click the bar on the right "MY home page", when I get there, it has that bar to look at the gallery for this person. Two steps. I agree though, a direct link would be cool. DRagontales

I'm glad someone started this thread. I was getting overly tired of the same images always being posted, always by the same people. To me, I don't see much difference between most of them anymore. Slightly different pose, no background to speak of, and if I see that damn box they pose them on anymore, I'm going to go nuts. And what the hell is with all the comments each one of them gets. Has anyone noticed that it's always the same people and basically the same comments? It's like some sick pep rally thing going on. Now, I'm not here just to see my images get hits, but it's really frustrating when you spend hours on end, create something you want people to see, and then because it happens to fall between some other more racy thumbnails, get hardly anything. My images do contain females, and they are somewhat sexy, However they are not nude, and although I don't have a problem with nudity, hell, I love it, I agree with the statements above that it's getting a little out of hand. Dragontales Ps. Hope I don't offend anyone, but lets see some more creativity. Pinups are fine, if they are really well done. I saw one the other day that honestly looked like it had been painted by a master. I kept a copy of it for my wallpaper, and told them so on the comments section.
