Are you trying to import a Illustrator vers. 9 file. I've heard that Carrara won't import that version. I haven't had any problem importing an earlier version that I export from Hijaak Draw.

As far as I know you can only export 2D DXF files from 3D Home Architect. A year or so ago I tried to export a house I created and could only export the 2D floor plan. So what I did was convert the floor plan to an Adobe Illustrator file and extruded it in the spline modeler. Then I cleaned up model in the vertex modeler and added the doorways, windows and roof. It sure would have simplified things if I could have exported a 3D file from 3D Home Architect

I've found that if I try and weld to many points at one time I get errors. I aways save before I weld or do any boolean operations. It would be nice if Carrara had an automatic save feature.

I would like to see an Amorphium forum. I too purchased Amorphium when it was first released. I use it now only to modify objects created in other 3d modelers. It sure would be nice to learn to use it all of it's features. Keith
