Thank you :) Hopefully that will help. I wish there were a way that people could reply directly to a poster in the thread instead of just posting in "general". I don't mind getting replies if it's a post directly to me, but it's a bit much to make a post in a thread, and then find it's a popular thread and 200 people have replied, and I get all 200 notifications just because I forgot to uncheck "email me when someone replies", LOL PS: Hmmm, I just noticed, that the box in "notify" below the typing window is checked off...meaning that I'll get a notification of all replies to this thread still. Is there no way to turn that "default" check mark off so that I have to add it in if I want to receive replies? remembers to uncheck the box

Thank you :) It took me several edits, but I finally got it!
I was at a total loss on what to do, but the hair and glasses are silly, so I went with absurd and goofy, lol PS: Thanks cooler for sending me the cigars :)

I am just now getting into multiple runtimes. Here is what I've done: C:eternal runtimes Inside that folder are the following. Some have things in them, others are there for future use: Furrette runtime Bg and Environment runtime Hair runtime Poses runtime Lighting runtime The Girl runtime Koshini Runtime Aiko Runtime I also have one called "Millennium People" and inside it are the following: V3 Character Addons (includes DAZ V3 and head/body morphs) V3 Clothing SP3 Character Addons (includes DAZ SP3 and head/body morphs) SP3 Clothing M3 Character Addons (includes DAZ M3 and head/body morphs) M3 Clothing D3 Character Addons (includes DAZ D3 and head/body morphs) D3 Clothing **************************************** I also sort the Character and Poses folder further with subfolders. In the Character folder I sort the clothes by "morphing" and "miscellaneous". In the Poses folder I sort by "morphing" and "miscellaneous", but then go further with folders inside to sort by outfit (MFD and all it's addons in the same folder). **************************************** In my Hair runtime folder, I sort Character and Poses by Hairstyle. In Poses, I put the hairstyle and all it's addons in one folder. **************************************** If you are unfamiliar with setting up Multiple Runtimes, the enclosed link is very helpful. It's just like installing into the main Poser 5 runtime, only you are doing it to one outside Poser 5 with a different name. After you have installed your millennium figure and it's head and body morphs to their external runtime folder, COPY the !DAZ folder found in your characters external runtime libraryfigures folder, into the Poser 5 runtime libraryfigures) folder. In Poser, add the external runtimes to your library, and you can use them just like you do the Poser 5 one. It takes sometime to get used to switching runtimes for various things, but it makes finding things a whole lot easier. I'm just revamping my runtimes to put the clothing in it's own runtime as noted above. I had all V3 items in one runtime folder and between clothes and character addons it got kind of big."It is good to see ourselves as

The picture isn't showing. Did you use the "attach file" area when you posted?

I tracked down a thread and it says you can no longer download the items, but you have until the end of April 2nd to submit your image to the gallery.Quote - So All Namihei items downloading page will be closed at April 2nd 6:00 CST. And we hope all namihei pics will be posted until this time. but we'll check Gallery images till the end of April 2nd CST. we may start sending e-mail message soon. Because posted images are more and more than we expected ;)
I'm so happy I have some time to finish up what I am working on. I've been slow because I have been reinstalling my runtime folders from scratch, so I have to seek and find when I want to use something, install it and then use it.

Here are some links to Dr. Geeps tutorials. I'm a slow learner when it comes to Poser, and at first his pictures look very confusing, but if you study them long enough and follow the arrows, it starts to make sense. Check out these tutorials first. They cover all of the basics: http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=2096208 http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?ForumID=12356&Form.ShowMessage=2159309 Then look through these: http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?ForumID=12356&Form.ShowMessage=2063281 http://www.ebonshire.net/tut-geep/index.php http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?ForumID=12356&Form.ShowMessage=2112286 http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=2122838 http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?ForumID=12356&Form.ShowMessage=1843595 http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=1649170 http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=2136081 Plus here are some others that I found helped me. The Morphing Fantasy Dress turorial helped me see how dials are used to adjust clothing and how clothing has the same "parts" as the figure. For example, if the chest of the dress isn't large enough to cover the breasts, you can work on the chest area of the dress, or the left or right collar and move the dials to "expand" and "grow" to the size you need. http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=490&highlight http://www.ronknights.com/poser/index.htm Excellent hair tutorial here: http://studioverite.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

Thread: Need help with Namihei hair | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I think the problem was computer memory. After I rebooted, I reapplied the hair and had no problem with it. I didn't have to do anything to it at all. I'll keep in mind the object/lock though. I'm always looking for tips to make my life easier in Poser :)

I got it to work after a reboot. I didn't have an option to conform it, and there was no vicky figure in parent either (just the clothing and shoes). I just applied it and it stayed with her this time. It must have been a memory issue. I'm actually having some fun with that April Fool stuff :)
