Thread: OK 'Fess up if you've had poser 5 crash on you.... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hard crashes, even CTRL+ALT+DEL won't get me out of. Twice the crash sent me to the farkin SOFT MENU setup on my BIOS. That teed me off a bit. Plus, if it doesn't crash, I still have to reboot cause every other program I load after Poser 5 is closed errors out and crashes. 1800XP, Win2k, 1 gig of DDR RAM. Radeon ATI RAGE with 128 DDR on the card 160 gigs of hard drive space, most of it free. Plus, in the two renders I have managed to coax out of this beast, it was in the P4 render engine, I noticed that transparencies are very VERY different. Am I upset? You bet. color me VERY disappointed.

Thread: Daz Wishlist - (What would you like Daz3D to create next?!) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks Spanki, Unfortunately those are for the poser dorks. I won't pay that kind of money to spend hours reconforming, to fit Micheal or vicky. Thanks anyway.

Actually Les, You have the wrong version of the Legendary textures. Contact Daz and ask for the proper version. If its asking for BUM files then you got the Poser 4 version, not hte Propack version. I had the same problem and they corrected it.

I have a long list. Diving suits, both wet and deep sea diving and the big helmunt for it. Flippers. Skin diving mask. Snorkle. It would be nice to see one of those old copper ones from the John Wayne movies of long past. A morphing suit that could be used for HAZMAT, Fireman, astronaunt. THe different head gear for all of them.(rebreather, firemans hat, Space helmut, etc) realistic cowboy stuff. Chaps, hat, gloves. THe dirty kind that you see bullriders wearing. (A bull would be nice too. Posable, not static). A posable lariat. English riding clothes. Shadbelly, hunt coat, breeches, field and dress boots. Prince William spurs. Top hat, and hard hat. Jumps would be nice too. Indian stuff. A posable war bonnet. The breast plate the warriors wore(Think Dances with Wolves)Buckskin clothes. Calvary clothes. Both Officers and enlisted men, circa Civil war. More Sci Fi stuff. Especially for Micheal. I have a longer list, but this is a start.

Mebbe you have your browser set to compress images? I know AOL's browser makes a hideous mess of images.

Thread: get IM or email when one of our wishlist items goes on sale? | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
Actually Ron, it's a very handy tool. If I'm doing a character image for one of my writing group and I don't have what they want their character wearing, I simply put the item on my wishlist. They can now buy it for me(if they insist on that particular item. Now it doesn't cost me to customize their image. Since I don't charge for the image, it's a nice compensation for my time.
Thread: On Zip file coruption | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
Jeff Texture packs. They usually run about 8-10 mgs. Right now I've reuploaded my White tiger texture pack, waiting to see if it is corrupted as well. The new zip file tested fine on my machine and both beta testers said it functioned normally.
Thread: On Zip file coruption | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
That would make sense if my beta testers were reporting the same problem, but its only the product testers at the Market place that are reporting this. I know all my beta testers use the most current version of Winzip because of the issue of backwards compatability. My main concern was to determine if it was the winzip issue, or if the marketplace upload form was corrupting the zip files.

It would even be nicer if the "merchants" knew if their products were on someones wishlist. The Merchants would know if a particular product of their's was wanted and simply too expensive, or if no one was interested. my pair of pennies

Poserworld rocks. I've gotten more than my money's worth, even if I can't use 2/3s of the stuff. Mec4d? There are no words. I can't speak for anyone else, but I sincerely feel that I was ripped off.
