You can dowload Strata 3d for free. It's got limited features, being a come-on for Strata 3D Pro, but it's got some decent modeling features. The manual is downloadable, too, though you can buy it from them. http://www.strata.com.
Thread: Lute Prop coming soon | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi. The neck is too wide. A lute with that many courses would have an extension neck. The frets are too dark. Lutes use gut strings as frets, and the fingerboard is generally darker. Also, all courses after the first should be doubled, up to the eight course, or so. The peg board should taper. Otherwise it's a fine lute.-FK.

I would be very interested in knowing how you go about printing them in lenticular format. By the way, Bryce allows you to model in true 3D using Elsa Revelator glasses, and Direct 3d. You need to make sure your video card is compatible.

Thread: Shadow help needed | Forum: Bryce
Thanks for the info, Guys. I did a test render at 300 dpi. 17 hours! Now all I have to do is model some flowers for the vase, and wait for the weekend._ Fernando.
Thread: Shadow help needed | Forum: Bryce
I found out what the problem was. The shadows where turned of in the Sky&Fog properties panel. Now, here's another question. Can you have a light track an object? -Fernando.

Thread: Can this thing render any slower??? | Forum: Bryce
Sometimes it helps to render the image really big, without any anti-aliasing. Then reduce the image.
Thread: Hi, and help! | Forum: Bryce
Thanks everybody. You have been very helpfull. I did the moon thing, and it works fine. If there is some residual light, it's minnimal.- Fernando. PS- Tenyon. I'm glad to see an Amiga guy somewhere!
Thread: Hi, and help! | Forum: Bryce
I'm just creating a default setup. I'm mostly interested in rendering interiors, or table-top type settings; this way I have more control over what goes on. -Fernando.
Thread: Hi, and help! | Forum: Bryce
Thanks for the info. I'll try the moon thing. Also, it's good news to hear it will be around. It's a great renderer. I've been using the Amapi givaway (version 4.1) and it's a truly wonderfull modeller for it. The people at TGS are very helpfull, and they will let you have a manual for $29, plus you can upgrade to V5 for %50.
Thread: TS and morph targets_ Help needed | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Sorry it took so long to reply. I've been away for a while. It's not working for me. I tried using tS 3 SE. Thanks for your help, though.

Thanks. I'll keep trying. I've used tS3 without much luck.---I installed the Curios Lab patch. It seems to be similar to the previous patch, ecxept that it installs a Curious Lab logo. Apparently, what it does is check over a network to see if if you have the same copy of Poser installed.-Not a problem for me. By the way, how do you deal with the size difference? -I find my figures import tiny. -Nando.
