Been a while (RDNA/P4) but, IIRC, I've seen 'graft' seams disguised ('interfaced') by a strap, bandage or parented blobby primitive...
Thread: Newbie Question on AniMate for Poser | Forum: Poser Technical
"DAIN works as a standalone program: give it a folder with a list of pics and it will create a movie."
Thank you. That is very useful to know.
( Nearest I've come to Poser animation was an imported FBX 'monster' that included several motions. 'Duty Cat' loved it !! Oh, and that 'weirdly wonky' FBX which stepped on Poser internals, made the camera yRotate very, very slowly, such that framed objects sorta crept off-screen while your back was turned... {FX: WTF ? Nape-hair up-stands !! } )
Thread: Scene rendering order ?? | Forum: Poser Technical
Thank you.
Sorry, I only mentioned this due to query on other Rendo forum by artist who needed what I'd call a plane's 'artificial horizon'-- Which you've now resolved...

Yes, that's a neat feature that I've used to salvage cranky 'ports'. FWIW, the 'visible in ray-tracing' option seems confined to Firefly...
Whatever, MMD seems able to force drawing sequence by position in list. Their PMX models sometimes rely on that, confounding correct export to eg OBJ.
Not a problem, is not near top of to-do list...
( Current 'WTF' is salvaging second of two mega-chunky spacer blocks for replacement of the very big, now-too-rusty security pad-bolts & fixings on 'up-over' garage door. Literally only ± 2 mm margin, these were custom-shaped, 'whittled' to fit !! First un-bolted with difficulty, had mild wet-rot. Duly dried, drilled, glue-bonded, hardware upgraded, re-fitted. Yay !! This second unbolted easily, but has mild wet-rot and severe wood-worm. Oops. Currently back-filling vermin voids with glue. When they set, must drill pattern of holes, glue in reinforcing dowels. When set, do some 'orthogonals', too. What fun... )
Thread: Is there a way to display the XYZ Axis in the preview window | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
You mean like an aircraft's 'horizon ball' thing ?? If Poser cameras have that, sorry, I cannot find it...
FWIW, a two-minute whatsit: Library, props, Poser primitives' box. Drag into scene. Select box_1. Scale to 50%. Duplicate. Select box_1, duplicate again.  Select box_1, x-scale 500%, xTran positive until just clear of #2 and #3. Select box_2, y-scale 500%, yTran positive until just clear of #1 and #3. Select box_3, z-scale 500%, zTran positive until just clear of #1 and #2. Colour-code #1~~#3 to taste. Their 'show in ray-trace' [ ] (no) only seems to work for Firefly, which is unfortunate...

Scene XYZ ? Wasn't there a freebie with three orthogonal lines, or could you make one from Poser primiti8ves ??
Thread: Imported FBX renders dark-brown, not orange ?? With fix... | Forum: Poser 11 / Poser Pro 11 OFFICIAL Technical
As far as I know, the Noesis FBX export 'flavour' does not include any scene or lighting information. It is not that 'clever'...
{ Small mercies !! }
Um, given can sometimes take several seconds for Poser preview to 'catch up' if you switch a light's modes, is it possible one has 'got stuck', is showing 'spot' but providing another ??
FWIW, I've spent much of evening wrangling another FBX figure, only to find my serial porting has produced 'rounding errors' such that gloves & sox suffer 'poke-through'. Yes, the 'trad' way of dealing with such is to make the offending garment opaque, then the underlying limb invisible. Like fitting feet to boots, 'just fake it !'
As yet, FBX being FBX, I can only hide the nice clothing, but not the affected limbs...
Thank you hborre & Nerd for your thoughts on the 'Chica-Bot' lighting. Who'd have thought resolving gradient-bump's minor 'Gotcha' would unearth something so strange ??
I'll investigate tomorrow...
Thread: Imported FBX renders dark-brown, not orange ?? With fix... | Forum: Poser 11 / Poser Pro 11 OFFICIAL Technical
Reloaded PZ3 from 'closed'. Scene has four (4) lights only, with three (3) lit.
Light #1 spot on, has shadows
Light #2 area off ( checked by switching on then off again: There's a small, but visible difference...)
Light #3 spot on, no shadows.
Light #4 spot on, no shadows
No other lights. No cycles emission sources such as lit room luminaires. 'Terminator' eye is super-ambient, too small to add significant lighting to scene.
This is weird...

Added: Mesh0~~15 remove back-facing polys : obey global setting = Remove
ground plane: casts shadows = [ ] =NO
Thread: Imported FBX renders dark-brown, not orange ?? With fix... | Forum: Poser 11 / Poser Pro 11 OFFICIAL Technical
That's weird !!
I've just re-loaded its PZ3, got exactly same lighting info, same render.
Only lights #1,#3,#4 in use, confirm #2 is Off.
Note #3,#4 have shadows switched off...
Could be I'd changed the shader nodes from Poser 11.3 defaults. Currently... #1,#3,#4 per above lights info.
( I do not understand shader nodes, so I leave them alone. Figures' 'Poser Content' material calls may step on them... )

Thank you, Primorge. That pic shook a memory loose. I had a hunt through my sprawling Poser / CAD archive, found Cthog in 'PO_sorted', zoo alien...
Thread: Adding Extra Eyes to a figure | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Given one of those Cambrian predators has now been confirmed as having a large, dorsal third-eye, the retro-reptilian tuatara (sp?) still has a 'semi-functional' third eye under translucent scalp skin, and our pineal is thought to have evolved from similar, odd numbers of eyes would be *good*...

Crafting integrated eyes for a figure looks hard, but have you considered cutting chunks of face off an existing, smaller-eyed figure ( perhaps just scaled ?) and parenting them to target's brow ?
Sorta like a half-mask ? Or night-vision goggles ??
I'm sorry, I wanted a centre-line third-eye for a WIRS' 'Three-Eyed Flying Monkey' --With 3rd-eye's lids closing sideways-- but never found a stand-alone lidded eye that was not obviously 'handed'.
