One thing more ALWAYS get DS & DPC as RHaseltine stated file sizes are different  if it says DS most, if not all, the time you WILL need the poser file so get them each

as far as I know I think DAZ does but who they are I do not know  just ask them to post here  DAZ looks at all posting of their products

Yes  and yes and yes.  this is what I found out when this happens. as your number of renders go up so does the number held in memory, you soon reach a total that daz will not cross  the only answer i found was to save the seen then close daz  and reopen it, you should also start getting bad thubms nail renders the only way i found to fix this was to cut down on the number of renders.  Daz holds renders in memory the same thing will happen when you try and save a seen if you save a lot, memory is eatten up and your puter cannot keep up daz and windows eat up a lot of ram and they fight for it. i also have 1Tbt of ram now and it does help.  as of now i know of no other way around this hick-up in daz

No hang in there DAZ will reply, "C" is your main drive no mstter where you instsll a DAZ app some of their auto installer will place somthing on your "C" drive DAZ is now making it easy to install where you want it to go I say it all the time "Make one install folder for all your D/Ls"  you can then move what  ever to where you want them. ds apps will look for DAZ install, ie. if you install V5 it will only install into the gen folder and if it cannot find gen. then it will stop.

Genesis will not work in DAZ3 only DAZ4, try and do a restore day and see if that fixs the problem it did for me once it may work for you

you have it right that is the order that i go with  trry this:

build your bass A4 that way if you need her you already have her and all her morphs, then add what ever charater you need then save the "NEW " and "Keep A4"

I am not sure as to what poser does.  I save it in DAZ format then load from the merge  you should have a folder where DAZ will save all your work you re-load from it

this is why I love to pre-build my figures i would go so far as to load a figure -place it where you want it to be-pose it  then save it as a sean (just the figure)then when you merge the fiure it is already set in place and you do not need to re-pose it just tweek it.  it is a lil extra work but it will save a lot of time in the final set up you render
