Have you tried deleting the file Poser UI Prefs_(Rez you work at).xml from your runtimeprefs folder then recreating your preferred setting in poser ? If that doesn't work also delete the file preferredState.pz3 from the same folder. Hope this helps.

Untick the auto-calculate output ratio box - this should then put in the second figure. Hope this works for you.

I don't think GIRL was developed as competition for Alexa. She was created first by Kim Goossens a couple of years ago in Lightwave and was the inspiration for amongst others Alexa. My personal preference is for GIRL. I actually think alexa is ugly by comparison.

My PC - Custom Built - by me. Won't buy a branded PC, as a tech I prefer to build my own. I personally recommend having a custom PC built if you can afford the initial outlay as it will be built to your requirements and not be some marketing guy's idea of the perfect home PC.
Also, custom built PCs tend to be cheaper and more reliable than branded PCs (every custom PC I have built for customers is thoroughly tested for at least 48 hours after system build to ensure there a no software problems or defective parts).

Thanks for the links. TrekkieGirl asks why anybody would want any Trek but TNG. Well I prefer TOS because it was better written (real science fiction writers not soap opera writers), it wasn't top heavy with technobabble, and it wasn't politically correct. O.K. some of the acting was a bit hammy at times, but I grew up watching TOS and liking the main characters. However if you really want decent TV science fiction watch Babylon 5. It has the following things going for it :- imperfect world, personal agendas, ongoing storyline, sensible tech, no end of episode reset button (which all the next gen treks (DS9, TNG, Voyager & Enterprise are guilty of this)), good writing, good acting & it set the Gold standard for special effects in TV & Movie Sci Fi
