Thank Hiram I think I see the higher the dpi the sharper the image but also the smaller the output size. Is there some special software to save it as a PDF document needed?

A really great question. I thought I knew almost all image formats. Single-image PDF----please educate me? How to make? I always render over 3000 pixals or more in the final pic. and usally at 300 dpi. Good enough for the poster size???

Im suprised the challenges or contest don't follows the holidays, we just had valentins day, easter's comin up, the fourth of july ect.... For me the biggest advantage of them is it give me ideas to work on, like cin and xena's pinup contest going on now. BUT----free stuff is good too :) Yes, Judged, not voted---cuts down on the arguements.

Melanie- I'm with you. I personally think it depends a lot on the machine, and the users disposition, and how they maintain there HD. I'm running 98se on a 633mhg machine that I had built (never do that again!). When I started with Poser I had a ton of problems. I formated and rebuilt my HD and now its been purring along like a kitten. Lots of space for a swap drive.

I suspect that "freestuf gets worked on when the(a) modler has nothing else to do at WORK. Low priority. It is a Business, ya know.

Twenty five years ago I was managing a video store. At the time they were new. ALL of the movie theaters were crying that we were going to ruin there business. sound famular!!! Now its more popular then ever. The same thing will happen to music and software. Better music and software WILL come about because the people will demand it. People that could never, on current pay level, will try stuff that would ONLY be available to the HAVE's of the world. Reminds me of a Ziggy cartoon, where he's standing at the base of a ladder. Looking up to see the first rung of the ladder way out of reach. The caption was, of course "The Ladder Of Success". To bitch and mone about what other people do here in the forum is like someone complaining about spelling in the chat room. LIGHTEN UP POV- Its a piss poor sword that dosen't cut both ways. Hi really great idea.... do it and Ill get it :) Kill two bird with one stone. Just make it html. then all users can access it. Plus you can add search options, chapters and graphics. yes I know pdf can do that also but everybody is already compliant to html. just my two cents worth.
