Let me add my thanks as well, this is one of those "gee, how did I get by without this" utilities. I'm off there to get it right now...... Paul

Nope, won't be using that because of that .exe file. There's not a single programme under c:/program files on my system that doesn't absolutely have to be there. I'd much prefer a zip file so I can sort it for myself. Paul

The .mtl is a resource file created at the same time as the .obj file. Basically it contains pointers to all of the materials (in Poser's case bump/texture/transparancey maps) used in the file. If you import the .obj into Bryce, all the textures will be loaded as well (presuming you've kept the .obj file in the same directory as the textures - otherwise Bryce will ask you to find them in a standard file selector box). Any other 3d program (like 3DS) which can read an .obj file and it's relevant .mtl file will also import the textures (correctly mapped) as well. Paul

I think this is another one of those "sanity checks" that Foxhollow mentioned :) It's easier to locate the malenude.obj if it's in a directory called MaleNude than if it's loose in one big folder called Geometries. The programmers probably found it easiest to do it this way to ensure that everything was in place. It also allows there to be a different MaleNude.obj in a folder called AnotherMaleNude - which may be totally different to the original Zygote MaleNude.obj Paul

I've had dreams like this too :) You could try building a coil out of primatives in Bryce (and I think there's a coil/spring in the create menu somewhere). Then applying a volumetric texture to it. The portal-type thingamabob behind the Egyptian figure is very impressive (although IMHO it does appear to extend into the ground). It could do with being moved into the background a little, or made smaller - but hey... this is just a dream right? Drop on over to the Virtual Tavern, you might like to try there for some ideas. Paul

Did the entire map reapply wrong, or was it just the handle that went "wonky"? If it was the whole map, you might have reset the whole map to a different mapping mode. If it's only the handle, you've picked the wrong mapping mode for the handle. When you applied the original map (where the seams stretched), did the handle come out okay? Paul
