It would be nice to have more morphs for the female boots (in addition to those you've already provided!), in particular morphs to thicken and lower the heel and lower the foot arch, turn them into western boots, etc.
Thread: New character face | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Beautiful job--look forward to getting it. One comment, though, if I may--does it seem that all the Posettes' eyes are too deeply inset? Renders seem to create too much shadow area above the eyes, no matter the light setting, and I generally retouch the texture maps to lighten that area. In your new face morph the area just above the upper eye lids seems very prominent, expecially at the outer edges where they meet the cheeks--it almost bulges. Is this just from the rendering you posted? Not a criticism, just an obversation.

Would be interested in seeing the Myth stuff. I've been toying with Marathon shapes from Poser.

Er, um, why would Renderosity and the Props Guild shut down? You guys are the injured parties here--you should allow others to compare the models. Publicity is the strongest weapon you have.
Thread: End of the road for graphics at Metacreations | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm shedding no tears for MetaCreations--I hope they burn in Hell. The writing has been on the wall for some time--surely you have been hard-pressed to find anything complimentary to say about MC Corporate in the past?

I turn off the IK for each of the boots as well--they seem to retain their properties and don't have to be re-conformed all the time. Of course, the figure wants to sink slightly below floor level, but that's easily adjusted.

Thanks, Jack--I had hoped you'd found some trick for the tie. I'd like to use the tie for a 'St. Trinian's Girl', but it would have to be usable in lots of poses. sigh. Anyone care to do a female tie????
Thread: The Exchange Student... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I tried using the posable tie on a female figure and it just flew all over the place when I moved any of the morph dials--how'd you get it to work?

If one of the file-converter utilities isn't handy, you can fix them with Resedit. Check one of your files that does work, and see what the Filetype and Creator codes should look like, and just duplicate that info in the files that don't work.
