Right. a re-install did nothing for me.. I did go back to CS and download just the application updater instead of the full, and it installed with no problem.. now downloading the figure updater.. Mystic

I am running XP Home.. got the same exact error.. could it be because I don't have Poser 5 installed on C: but rather another hard drive? I dunno, just a guess. Will try re-installing Poser 5 first then the patch. Mystic

I did the above as instructed.. question, what does this do exactly? also, I have two hard drives, one is my c: (os installed on it) the other is split into two (it's an 80) I have the option to make this setting to all three drives.. is this something I should do, or just make the settings on the one hard drive?

Everyone else that purchased the Versa Hair texture pack, I am in the process of having it updated in the store now, so you can redownload it, or you can email me and I will send them to you :o) even if you don't have propack, you should still get the update if you plan to upgrade to poser 5, for the small error will effect that as well.. I've managed to crash a few times.. ummm turn everything off in the background..ummm no.. I'll just load my paint program and poser 4 up.. one without the other isn't something I'm willing to do.. the pain in that.. use your little painter, close it, open poser, render test, umm not right, close poser, open paint program again.. OMG that would be insaine...

I am sorry that you're having problems with the MAT files for my product, they were tested by a team of 5 beta testers, using both propack and poser 4, none of them have had this issue. Mine was dropped off first thing this morning.. Woke up to a loud "clunk" guess the guy didn't care if I was home or not, just dropped it over the fence and left.. haven't really played with it yet, can't seem to get passed the "invaild previous poser serial number" sigh

everyone I know, says the same thing VirtualSite. so maybe it is a difference in the software used to burn the cd's. until geep confirmed it was possible.. I wondered if it was just me.

I understand that. :o) some people say they write to a cdr just once, that's it, they can't keep writing to it (example backing up all the poser things at once because one you burn you can't add more) but I've always been able to add more later to the same cdr. I just keep adding till it's full.. so many people don't know that, they assume, write once that's it, no more adding to the disk.
