I just tried again. The links appear dead. But I searched the HTML Source for "HREF=" and I found the URL for the download. I copied that and pasted it in the Address bar. That took me to the Homestead Download page, which indicated "SprinFaerieGirl.zip". But when I clicked on the file name, Homestead sent me to their "Page not found" page. I use IE5 as my browser on a Mac. Is this just me? - Jimx

She's beautiful!!! But I just tried to download here. All the links at your page seem not to be functional (they do not even appear when I view the source of your HTML). I'm in California. I know lots of people who consider that a foreign country, but I don't think Homestead treats it that way. Anyone else having better success than I????? - JimX

Shucks. Vicky only. There were some pieces I was looking for, to put on a Posette-based charecter, too. Styxx, I checked out Fayt on the Front Page. Neat stuff! And when Xurge gets his CD ready, it looks like we're going to have lots of options. My thnaks to all of you artists who are contributing so much to the community. - JimX
Thread: Save a pose !?! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Skygirl, Also remember that if you want to save your poses, you should pose and position your characters with the HIP x-, y- and z-offsets. Never use the Body offsets, because they are not recorded in the pose file. - JimX

For Dial-Up users, 3Com makes a 56k "LAN Modem." It sits on an ethernet connection (in fact, it also contains a 4-port ethernet hub). It does the same thing as the Lynksys router, and it contains the modem right in it. The advantage is that if you have multiple computers, they can all access the internet through the single ISP connection. Of course, you still only have the throughput of a 56k modem, but you have the protection of the DHCP and NAT functions. - JimX

I certainly hope that your leaving is limited to the material you have just removed. Your other contributions (the Kirrin chafacter, for example, is one of the most beautiful on the web-- better than most of the Vicky characters) are of great value to the community. My hobby is art. My profession is Management Consulting, which is ever involved with reading what you have done, fixing the mistakes, and moving on. In this spirit, I hope you will continue to participate and contribute. Your presence enriches us all. - Jim

Great looking dagger. But when I try to download it, I get at Geocities "Page can not be found message." The same thing happened with the original Parrying Dagger. Anyone else having trouble? - Jim

Just leave them in Windows form. MartinC has solved all of our problems with his fantastic MacConverter program. It fixes everything for Mac users. So windows developers can just leave the files as they are. In fact, Mac developers generally convert their Poser files to Windows format before sharing them! - Jim
