i've got strata 3D, C4D, and the demo of maya (which i can't use 'cos i need an NT based OS) but bryce is so much easier, simple, sexy? and under-rated. it does some funky stuff the others can't even attempt. which seem to have slipped my mind at the moment..... John

black hole sun..... a black hole which is a sun. hence the fact the planets are lit by it. actually they aren't the black hole is only a black coloured sphere. the actual light source is the sun which is behind it. oh bugger you've gone and made me spoil it now! anyway who said it was a picture in this universe? do i need to whip out the ol' p-branes? John PS: er... bugger.... i was once told if you could see all the stars light AT THE SAME TIME the night sky would be as bright as day..... hmmm........

15,000 meta balls! most objects i ever had b4 my machine bombed was 10,000 bog-standard spheres! and then it died a death worth of a celeron 333. it had done its best. actually i've upgraded since i fiddled with that picture... added 64meg more ram.... hmmmm... "and the light went out in his eyes for the very last time, ever." a slight misquote but it'll do! John

like it! :] is that bump mapping or the actual shape? why do my post turn surreal VERY quickly? where do socks go when you put them in the washing, i only get one back usually? i've just finished digitising my photography work from school, something i should have done 4 years ago when i could remember WHY i took them, and when they weren't so damaged. its gonna take a lot of 'shopping to restore them to their former glory! later froodz! John PS: what is DTE? i can't work it out!
