Sounds really interesting, but what about the mathematically challenged?
Thread: Eagle fighter, Bryce animation now on You-Tube | Forum: Bryce
That's really cool! I never knew you could do animation like that in Bryce. Great job:)
Thread: What are your favourite Bryce tips and tricks? | Forum: Bryce
This is a great thread - everyone has a different way of working and so different tips to offer. I reckon we should have a special tips/tricks section or back room for Bryce or something since this doesn't quite fit into the tutorials section (or maybe there should be a part of the tutorials section devoted to tips/tricks? ). It would be a great learning resource for new Brycers (well old ones too - you never stop learning;)), especially now that there are probably more of them around due to the recent Daz giveaway.
My tip is as already mentioned - save often!

It's a shame there weren't more entries. I didn't enter because I just couldn't decide on my favourite film - I've got too many lol. Looking forward to seeing what the next competition theme will be:)
Thread: Free stuff search routine broken? | Forum: Community Center
I've had problems recently just being able to stay in the freebie section. I manage to browse maybe two or three items and then I get thrown off-line - it only evers happens in this section, nowhwere else on this site or any other site. There is an error message that I get - would it be of any help to a copy of this to the admins if it happens again?
Thread: Bryce Volumetrics | Forum: Bryce
On the Edit panel, with the object selected that you want to change, look along the top right hand side and you should see a small double ended arrow (well, there is in 5.5 so I'm assuming it's there in 5.0 - please correct me anyone if I'm wrong) - click the arrow and the range of primitives and light objects should appear - whilst still holding the mouse button down move along to the object you want to change to,and whilst you are hovered over it release your mouse button. The object should change instantly.

I've done someof Cinema 4d (demo), and I've been learning Blender, so I have some knowledge of modelling (beginner really). I have UV mapper on my computer but I've yet to learn it. I've just got Poser 5 (I've been using Daz Studio for a while) Modelling clothes seems a bit confusing - I think I'd like to try making conforming (like the ones you can buy here or at Daz that work with morphs etc - or is it dynamic) clothes. Finding the correct starting point isn't quite clear to me yet, so hopefully Dr Greep's site will point me in the right direction. I'm surprised how little information there is out there about this subject. I can't really seem to find any other tutorials that give you an idea step by step of what to do.

Doc Greep's site looks amazing - so many tutorials, just what I was looking for. I would have never found this patorak, so thanks for the link (he's never shown up under any web searches I've done).
Thread: Download Managers for Poser 5 FREE | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yeah, that's what I'd like to know. I've completed a download in that it's finished downloading, but the file sizes haven't been right . The full file sizes are supposed to be 286mb and 344bm (from the CP forum). None of mine have been this.

Thread: Free Poser 5 Complete | Forum: Bryce
Yeah, sounds great at first -just wait till you've had to wait for days just to be able to download it, then to find the download doesn't work, (corrupt files)! Then it doesn't seem so sweet
See the thread in Comuunity Centre too, and over at Daz - alot of people having problems.
Thread: Download Managers for Poser 5 FREE | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I've been getting corrupt files aswell. Tried three downloads, each time the same thing. If they're going to offer something they should at least make sure the damn thing functions properly!! I'm not impressed with CP at all regarding this. Yeah, it's great that it's free, but this downloading buisness is really frustrating - you wait for days to be able to get a download and then the download doesn't work!! Has anyone actually managed to get it up and running? Please post a reply if you have with any tips! I beginning to suspect it's a marketing ploy to get people to the site or something :sneaky:
