HAHA! Nice joke! That guy is crazy! Yopu remember those red and blue clouds? Ever think maybe its just water vapor breaking down the sunlight just like a rainbow? I worked outside for 3 years so I'm kind of familiar with the sky. If Russia wanted to disrupt the western air force, they should be putting all the clouds they can over Sheppard Air Force Base in the city I lived in, yet it is sunny all the time. Somw of those pictures are interesting, but the reason for taking them is totally bogus. Thanks for the laugh! Edit to add: OMG! That guy thinks that big disk is some kind of antenna! Anybody that reads about those images should know that is a disk !inside! the camera that blocks out the sun disk!

Thread: Thought I would try something completely different..for me that is | Forum: Bryce
It does look like they are wearing wet suits to me. Their hands are a different color than their fore arms. Other than softer shadows and I think this images is great. I have seen the sun look like that several times(two-thirds of my car's roof is glass).

It must be a server problem because the error page link doesn't work either. You would think they could correctly insert a link into their own error page so it is probably the server. Especially at this ungodly hour.
Thread: New Space Ship.... .W.I.P. | Forum: Bryce
If a spaceship did have wings it they would also look a lot different. I can tell you now those wings that you have serve no function other than storage inside and mounting options on the outside. If this ship flew in an atmosphere the wings would be more like airbrakes because of the flat leading and trailing edges. Unless this ship will fly only in space it should be completely redesigned. It is only slightly more aerodynamic than a barn door.

I wish I had a copy to sell. That photo is going for thousands of dollars at major auctions. The value is probably going higher now that Avedon has died. Actually, I think I would keep it. That is a way cool photograph.

That's really coming along. You should check out the seam above the left engine and the seams where the curves straighten on the pipes. That can be really hard to line up. That's looking nice.
Thread: My computer says 2 Bryces are running but I only see 1 | Forum: Bryce
I closed the one that was behind. The other one said 36% but I think it was using a different reference because it now says 11%, make that 12%. I saved that one before I did anything and when I closed the other it didn't ask me to save. I guess I shaved at least a couple days off the render time, although I don't really care. I don't have much time for Bryce right now.

Now I don't know which one to close. It turns out the one that wasn't in the task bar is rendering the same thing as the other but is farther ahead. I don't want them conflicting if I try to close the slow instance.

I was in the orthographic view once and I somehow got squared shadows. The only thing I can think of for fixing those edges is to render at a higher resolution.Thread: Terragen first WIP | Forum: Bryce

There are also a few water settings that need to be turned down, though I don't remember which ones, to get more realistic water. They have to do with the way the water reflects light.
Thread: ot..for the women ..Through a Rapist's Eyes | Forum: Bryce
On that note, I have gotten a couple e-mails talking about how date-rapists were starting to use a drug that is usually used to sterilize horses in conjunction with the normal knock-out drug to not only prevent the woman from getting pregnant but to also sterilize her. Within a few hours of reading them the people that sent them wrote again saying,"Oops, not true."
Thread: Test pilot needed | Forum: Bryce
I could see a pilot with big goggle and a huge silly grin on his face, kind of like he's cazy. Of course, he would have to be crazy to fly that!
Thread: ot..for the women ..Through a Rapist's Eyes | Forum: Bryce
Everytime I've been hit in the groin playing sports it pretty much started hurting right then. I've never had to wonder if I did get hit, it was immediately obvious. Besides, what's a rapist going to do after a hit like that, hit the woman then collapse on the ground?
