it really is a terrific little tool.  i use it for "that other site" and have changed their way too bright site into one that has a deep teal background with soft aqua text.

for those of you who share my opinion regarding the site's palette and use Firefox, there is a little add-on you can use to change the colors.  It is called "Color that Site," and it really does work nicely.  currently,  i have changed Rosity's background site colors to lovely DEEP blues.

i also preferred the rounded corners used on the rectangular elements in the old site.  now everything is a boring 90-degrees angle.  the old site had a distinctive look to it.  now it looks very mundane...for a site that deals with "art" there is little that is artistic with the new site.

one of the best things you can do for yourselves folks is to stop using IE and start using  firefox.  much better, faster browser and with the NoScript add-on you wouldn't have this current problem ruining your day.

i agree with you 100%.  images should go into the gallery relative to the program the rendering was done.  from my point of view, setting up a scene/figure in Poser and then texturing, etc.,  and rendering it in a high-end 3d program should not qualify the image to be in the Poser gallery.  only images rendered in Poser should qualify for the Poser gallery.  an experienced eye can tell the difference between a Poser and 3DMax, et al. render--ticks me off to see these renders try to pass as Poser renders.

I do take into account that for some folks, English is not their first language.  But oddly enough, some of these folks actually leave more meaningful comments than those who are fluent in English.   Go figure...

Well, I for one turned off the ratings option a long time ago.  Lately, I have turned off comments as well.  I am not certain if I will allow that option in the future.  Probably will, but I will have to give it some thought...If I could I would also turn off the favs option...

Don't misunderstand me, I do like comments, but not those one word wonders...it is also very obvious that some folks are so eager just to leave a comment, that they never even read the text accompanying the pix...makes me wonder if they even really look at the pix...

Have read all your posts and have to agree with the general theme.  I for one would like to see the # of ratings and most commented on removed from the galleries' first page.  I see these as  prime movers for all the copy and paste, etc.  comments.  You know the tit for tat mentality.  The galleries have in reality become popularity contests and very little to do with art....the art charts also contribute to this nonsense...

guess you can add this to the ebot problem:  made a purchase in the wee hours of the morning today and never received the customary purchase/payment confirmations for that purchase....

can add me to the oldies list too, LOL...boy those WERE great days!
