Quote - I found the solution to the problem at another site. My anti-virus software was picking up a Poser process as being a Trojan and was refusing to let it run. Unfortunately the window that said it was blocking a process was coming up behind Poser so I couldn't see it to tell it to knock it off ;-)
IÂ had this same issue when I would run any python based program. I had contacted my AVÂ maker and they told me how to get it working with a few "tweaks"

As a content creator, there are some items I have put the non commercial tag on due to reasons like, with my "brick" people or Star Wars freebie, since I don't own the trade marks or copy rights. Others I have labeled for commercial use with permissions due to I own the right to the products since they are my original items and final the I don't care items that are so general that any one could have made them.

Should look at PhilC's All Tied Up. I have made some great things using this. It has presets for
tentacles, but cannot redistribute them due to licensing with PhilC. IÂ can possible make something very low res if you want, but it will have to wait till the weekend.

I cannot believe all of this speculation of what is happening between both Daz and SM. It makes good sense that they are working together. Each company has a "customer base" that the other does not (if that is possible in this community).

Poser is not yet dead and don't count it out yet. IÂ use both Poser and Daz Studio and I know there are things IÂ can and cannot do in either application that the other can.
IÂ am a content creator and I feel that Daz Studio still has some growing up to do to match what can be done in poser for content.
You may not like the next statement so cover your eyes.
- Poser will always have more people using it than studio.
- Studio is less like to over take Poser due to how many users there are of Poser
- studio still lacks of support for content creators

Poserpedia in my opinion is more geared towards commercial related stuff. Where as this one we want it to be geared towards non commercial. The site is just starting and we hope we can get some people to contribute links, information and sites of those rare to find Poser items.
