Pro Pack as far as anyone knows is still not out yet. Curious Labs info about it leaves tremendous room for improvement. I'm not sure what you get for the money either. Perhaps Curious Labs is taking the position that if you have to ask what it does it isn't for you. There are probably a number of beta testers on this sight that are sworn to secrecy. If tradition holds they will be released from their vow just before or at release and can fill us in.

Keep reading in the manual. If you haven't gotten there already you soon will. Go to the Library Palette (Palette on right side). Select Figures Pick a particular Figure. Notice that at the bottom of the palette four buttons appear. The one second from the left is the create new figure button. Click on that button and there you go. Okay, I went and looked at the .pz3 file. It had over 6600 pages in it. I tried some search and replace. My head is spinning. If it was just this file I'd start over, but I have others with the same problem. Is there a way to figure out which references need to be changed or some global way of changing it? Any idea how this happened and how I can prevent it from happening in the future?

Under Object Properties when selected nothing comes up for figures other than 8 & 11 (Not for figures 2,3,5,6,7,10,13). In the hierarchy editor only figures 8 and 11 show up.

Loading the latest from Curious labs did not help. Importing instead of opening did not help. Figures 3,4,5,6,7,8,10,13 all seem to be assigned to the same person on the screen, instead of to the person they should be assigned to. I don't know anything about file structure but, I used Wordpad to look at the .pz3 file. Is the following normal or should it be root BODY:10...? figure { name Figure 10 root BODY:13 addChild hip:13 BODY:13

How do I figure out which Geometry RSRs apply? All figures in the scene are basically the same with different hair. In the drop down list each has a different figure name (e.g. Figure 1, Figure 2...). I'm in the process of downloading the latest patch

As I recall that was a problem with P3...it wouldn't properly uninstall. I think people just chose to delete what they could by hand.

I think the one you were referring to was Even 360. I would like to know when you snuck onto my computer and put it there? It still is not exactly what I'm looking for because it does not appear clean and bright from all angles. At high noon there's not much shadow anywhere and everything is still clearly visible. With Even 360 you get 2 long shadows unless you turn off shadows completely. Could someone invent a single light called Sol? I started playing with adding lights, moving them, and coloring them. Wow is all of that beyond me. That ball with lights up in the upper left is not intuitive to me. I also don't understand why with the lights that you get with Even 360 you get the circle with arrows and for the lights you add you get the canisters. It looks like I've got some playing around and perhaps reading to do.

I'm holding back my vote until I know more about his platforms (shoes) and who his running mate might be, Milli, Poly, Michael, Bobby ...

Picnic, Thanks for your thoughtful response. I've printed out this thread and will try your suggestions to see how well I can do. I also have seen your later thread containing some of the possiblities with the clothes and have printed out that too to see if I can reproduce what you did there.

Picnic, I appreciate your response. My basic problem with the clothing is that there are certain items from the P4 clothing set that I often use. For part of what I do with Poser I need about 10 females and 10 males who look different yet are wearing the same clothes (think team). I was excited about Vicki and Michael because I thought they would allow for more diverse looking people yet they could all wear the same clothes. However, Vicki/Michael do not have the P4 default clothing. So either I have to give up on the diverse people and go back to what I had or start over with different clothes. Perhaps I am not creative/artistic enough or understand how to do it, but as far as I can tell Vicki does not have Biker shorts, Halter top, Leotard, Unitard, Polo shirt, Shorts, Sweater, T, Turtleneck, or Vest. Michael does not have Running Shoes, a Polo shirt, Shorts, Sweater, T, Turtleneck, Vest, or Muscle Shirt. At one time I held out hope that someone would convert the P4 clothes to Vicki/Michael standards. In addition, I am thinking about using Polyette/Bobby in place of Vicki/Michael. Still, having paid the money for Vicki and Michael I'd hoped that things would be better than they are.

In my experience Poser communities are very reactionary. It seems like this community in the last year has been dissolved and reformed 10 times. Nothing is ever perfect and she is certainly not. People have done some great things with her and some remain disappointed. Personally I continue to be disappointed not in her, but in the clothes that are available for her. I keep waiting for Zygote to make other clothing packs available, but I have heard nothing.

3ddave44, Normally, I would not chose to echo previous sentiment, however, from a what's needed perspective there is a ton of things still needed. It all depends on your interests. Clothing is a major need, not only for sports, athletics, casual activities, formal activities and environments, but especially for Vicki and Mike. I wish I had the talent to produce P4 default clothing for our newest couple. Usually, when someone posts that they are looking for something to work on from a clothing or prop suggestion they are innundated with requests. Creativity from a group perspective seems to go in cycles, but is inspired by new tools and ideas. Vicki spurred a lot of work when she came out, however, Mike has not. Perhaps the next upward cycle will occur in Curious Labs releases their Pro Pack.
