unfortunatly it's not the original photo, <- I saved over the original.....btw hoof got any words of wisdom concidering how you banner' came about? or some linkage for some of the free textures, brush's .. urm I may be asking allot eh?.. I know Archives..but grrrr Studdies

yeah high pass with a certain input number and set in hard light mode -30 % opacity - almost looks like an unsharp mask.. & yeah it's a launch pic.

may as well show you, the filter High pass, on a layer set to hard light,.. before I combined a few layers wich had a basic filter of clouds.. and after a few curve changes made it an alpha and put a lighting effet on it.. the whole design is rather simplistic, and "dark"

urm i forgot exactly hw.. but try this copy the layer of original fruit. desaturate this. and it's blending mode is hard light middle is the texture.file - rotate it, and I selected only the apple then applied a filter.distort. Sphere-Ize on it select inverse go to the original apple copy and paste , move this to the top layer
