Thread: I am upset about this product | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
No site.
Still I think you are missing the point of why I am upset. No where in the product description does it say anything about a temp serial or about needing a serial. 99% of the software I have purchased in the last 25 year I never had to wait for a serial to use it (the temp serial does not work). It is either with the software or as over at Daz3d they post it there.
This is something I feel should be corrected by the Management team here. If software is required for a product it should state that we need to contact the vendor or will receive the serial via email in X hours after purchasing.
I have dealt with Mark in the past with a different piece of software and I know it takes time to get a reply from him when you email. I also notice that his link to his support forum is not working and that should be fixed by him. Also on his website the link to contact him does work either. I am sorry to say If I didnot need this software for what I am working I would not purchase anything from him, due to how long it takes to get support from him.

Too add to this it should state in the product description that a serial number is need and may have to wait a few days to get one that works! If I don't hear from him in 24 hours of purchase I will be asking for a refund.

I have already done this, I never had any issues with any other utility I have purchased from here. If a product is going to require a serial I expect to get one that works not having to wait a few days before I can use it!

I would recommend making it so the front of the hood could partially cover the eyes, sort of like the Emperor's hood does.

Quote - So a Jedi robe shouldn't be closed at the front? (sorry.. I've seen Star Wars.. years ago.. so I dont remember the details)
Hm. Back to the drawing board then I guess. I am almost done with a dynamic hooded robe for M4. But that, too, is closed at the front :(
What you remember is possible Obi Wan in Star Wars EP IV (A new Hope) when he is first seen scaring away the Tuskin Raiders (AKA Sand People) from Luke. Normally the Robes are opened for easy access to the weapon of choice. The other reason why opened is for easy discarding if have to battle using the light saber. Not all Jedi wear the robes some find them restricting due to species. A good reference can be found here

Thread: My Poser 6 program won't work anymore | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - I use XP home edition. I don't use Vista (and don't intend to).
All I know is there was a very loud Pop! and they were gone. I do have surge protection, etc. The drives that blew have been replaced.
J.
(This is an educated guess to to past experiences)
I think I might know what your issue is. It sounds like you have an older system (3 years or older), and it sounds like your Motherboard is having issues with reading your drives. This means either your motherboard is going or is almost gone.
IMHO you should take it to a repair shop and have them look at it if you don't know what is going on. And please don't take it to a chain store cause you will not get an honest answer, but take it to a local "ma and pa" shop. Most of the time they will help you out in the cheapest possible way.

Mike if you are looking for models, best bet is look for art school in your area, then contact an instructor there. Tell them what you are looking to do and most times they will give you a name of a student(s) and they may even offer you use of their class room so they can see it in work.

I can say this about the new site, it is allot easier to get around in and the site has a "fresh" new look. As a vendor there I am waiting like the rest of you.

Thread: Taking too long to make products... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
My personal opinion is this, you have a product you make, take the time to do it right or don't do it at all. As a vendor at another store, I take the time and make sure it is of good quality and works as promised. Right now one of the products I am working on is taking me longer than I thought it would because I want the details right.
