It's a real shame when things disappear like that. There are the lucky ones who were there at the time (and kept backups against HD crashes), and there are the poor folk who must wander in eternal darkness, forever bereft of the cheering twinkle in the eyes of a Thorne fairy ... who will take pity on them?? Woe! Woe! OK, so I got carried away, but you get the drift.

I have no problem grouping the eyebrows with the rest of the skin and just using a good quality texture. I admit I don't do facial close-ups.

There was a loincloth for Vickie in the freestuff here a while back, but I can't remember the artist's name. I'm not sure it's exactly suited to an angel, though (depending on your concept of angels).

Agree with Nukeboy. If the majority of the work is Poser, then put it in the Poser gallery. The guide to getting good renders with Poser is: don't try.

Note also the very useful Ultramorph Woman from Confusius - Posette with so many morphs that it's easy to develop many new characters from her.

There is a distinct difference between "free" and "public domain". Everything anyone creates automatically remains the copyright of the creator even if it is given away free. If the creator explicitly revokes their copyright, it becomes public domain and you can do what you like with it. However, as said above, if I take a photo of your house, the copyright is mine, and you don't have any legal case to stop me. Hence these "no commercial use" clauses probably have no legal weight, since I own the copyright to my render of your mesh. Respecting them, though, is a matter of courtesy. Don't kick the people who give you stuff.

Posette is really much easier to work with, and if you aren't doing close-up work, she looks just as good. I agree with Wolf359's observations, but this problem can be fixed usually with very minor post-work. I guess I use roughly: Posette: 75% Eve: 20% Vicky: 5%
Thread: Galley Credits, I want your opinion on good manners. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I like to give credits as a way of thanking people for particularly nice items they have given away, but I don't feel obliged to do so every time I use it or for everything I use (cataloguing the creator of every texture would be a nightmare). If people use props of mine in a picture and give me credit, I like that, but if they don't, I don't get worked up about it either. I'm just happy that my props were of some use.
