Thanks to all :) I have saved the link to look at further LP :) Can I be an awful pain and ask what 'colour management' means ? Before I bought PSP I asked around and people couldn't tell me why PS was any different which is why I bought the cheaper alternative. PSP more than equals my skills, but it would be nice to know about PS too :)

Don't know Carlos they few and far between, perhaps we shall have to write our own converting the PS to PSP. I recently got hold of a CD produced by Jasc on enhancing photos with PSP9 and that helped loads.

Thx Michelle for another valuable link. I don't use Photoshop, I have PSP9, but I find the links you post always informative and interesting you are quickly filling my favourites folder :) I assume the curves function in PSP dos exactly the same as in Photoshop - nearly all articles in mags and tutorials on the web seem to be for photoshop perhaps I got the wrong software :( Richard.
