I would have said Walrus's don't too well going up stairs! so keep it low or use large ramps with a low slope on them to get higher. I'd go with a natural stone/ice cave type feel, each building kind of looking like an iceberg or small peak of rock! I'd also go with the water ways rather then roads (I know you said walrus men, but I'd keep the city concept kind of more towards the walrus)

Having several friends who were removed from their homes (2 due to family abuse, one who's parents were found not guilty) all of them suffered further abuse when fostered or in hostels. Removing from the family is not always the answer, explain to me how in any way, a child removed from his parents (due to some pics of him naked in a paddling pool) was subsequently abused for 9 months in a childrens hostel is right. I agree with kromekat, 'Kiddie porn is sick beyond words. Child abuse is so uttely twisted, that NO excuse is acceptable to me. Actual abusers should be severely punished. Peadophiles should be removed from the planet' I would remove all abusers of children permanently from the planet. (Of course you need some sort of safety net for wrongful prosecution, but I see no reason not to go for a lethal injection if a prosecution hasn't been overturned within say 5 years of original conviction)

Having only ugraded from 2 to 5 a couple of months ago, and not having read the bryce manual (I mainly use it to create terrains for Max) anyone want to tell me how to plop render?

THis thread looks similar to one in the Max forum..... I'll repeat my thoughts though.. I'd go with the new quadroFX 2000 - an absolutely stonking graphics card. Dual AMDs, bags of RAM preferably Crucial Hadn't thought of using lightning on my dualie to use both procs though thanks for that one Rayraz will have to have a try.(Max has a nice little tick box for using two procs) FWIW my current machine is dual PIII 1G, 1G RAM, Quadro 2. (State of the art 2 years ago :-))

I didn't know warthogs could load so much munition, that said I wouldn't like to swooping ground targets with a 500lb bomb beneath my armour, I guess deliver the pacakges first before making canon runs. Personally I like image 3 but there you go !!

I rendered my cover entry at full size too, it does indeed make post work easier, I used RGB in post so that I could use all the pshop filters, I have the same problem with my cover entry as with the image above. The CMYK TIF file looks great in pshop and pants in everything else :-( Note with the above sample all I've done in this session of each program is load the same CMYK tif file.

AAArrrrgghhhh, I just looked at my renderosity cover entry in tif using a different package to pshop and have exactly the same thing, my carefully made image looks pants :-(
