Thanks bagginsbill. I'll give the windows explorer option a try, but where it the option to have the library panel float? Can't find it. I see it red leader.

Had already done that hborre (Superman!) but I guess what I'm wanting is a larger viewing area, like another window so I can see more than a few tiny little images (yes, I know you can increase the size but then one image hogs the whole space). I am looking to see more, maybe like a windows explorer experience that I can then click on and load the figure with.

Oh, I have SR3 installed. Don't see what's so great about it. It still is a small window to see anythinng. Or am I missing something?

bought the Omni sword thank you, but it has parts I want to remove. Is there a way to delete certain polygons or parts of this sword in Poser 8? The dials don't seem to do it.

Omni Sword Super Prop looks good. Does the sword morph into all those types shown? In other words did all those demo swords come from one sword object morphed into all these different shapes? If so, I'm buying it too.
TrekkieGrrrl, since you bought it, what I'm looking for is the ability for the sword to look like an extended V shape (the V upside down of course). Can it to that?

Thread: Try as I might I have not been able to reduce the pupil size in Vue! | Forum: Vue
I know nothing loads or something loads but it isn't the character's materials because
when I render it is black - the character renders in total black.
In my version of Vue (Pro Studio 6) there are no checkboxes that influence the size. The
screenshot shows my Save As Dialog which is the file I retrieve when attempting to Load, but as mentioned when I load them it renders black as if the materials were never really saved.
I save them by clicking on Edit All Materials (after I've selected them) and then click on the Save icon. Not sure what is going on but it seems to load the materials but the materials loaded have nothing in them.

Ok, there is something wrong here.
Here's what I'm doing:
Thread: Try as I might I have not been able to reduce the pupil size in Vue! | Forum: Vue
Thanks nruddock, but when I right click on the material in the Materials window and click Save, it doesn't show me where it saves to so that when I then later right click and select Load I don't know where to find it. Looking in the manual doesn't give me any clues with saving materials.

Thanks for that, but if after Vue asks me to reimport, and I do, will it wipe out the changes
I made to the other body materials (skinhead transparency, lighting, etc) I made in Vue?

My Poser folder layout is attached as Poser automatically installed them on my machine.

**silverblade33,
I'm really wanting to organize my Poser 8 files. You're right, they are such a mess, but I have a few questions about it that I'm hoping you wouldn't mind answering:
Thanks** **silverblade33. You're a Godsend!

Thread: Why am I not getting a shadow under the brim of a hat? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks, I think it was the turning on of the RayTracing that did the trick and making sure all the lights had their shadows turned on. Thanks Lost and Winter!

Thanks Winterclaw, do you have a screen shot of your lighting setup and shadow settings you could show me? Looks like you've got what I'm looking for.
Thread: How do I take a buckle off a hat? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks SamTherapy and markshum,
I used the grouping tool option and deselecting the buckle. Didn't know about that so it was something knew I learned. Thanks. The making it transparent worked as well, thank you.
I appreciate your help.
Michael
