Nice shot Cam like the diagonal lines and the bright high light. Not sure about the sunrays, If you have added them, I would look at rotating them, they are a bit straight up. Perhaps fading them before they reach the base of the frame. Dont know if this would be better but they look a little contrived. Great idea, Hope thats not your shreadys up there. LOL :O)

Great shot Steve, I like the camera angle and your right to use the chalk, an essential part of climbing. One little suggestion the fingers dont seem to have much tension in them, I might be wrong, but It might be more dramatic if the climber was to hold his weight on the grip. :O)

Yum! Hot rods Im into these at the mo. Like #1 nice treatment you might try removing the people in the middle. just what are they looking at? #3 is nice too, a bit like the old school boys comic books. Yes I like um, a nice set of pictures, where were they taken Firestorm?

Bloody hell, I was not trying to start that thread again. I just wanted another opinion on the, is it photography question. As you know I am a member of a photography club and causing quite a stir with my highly manipulated work, if clubs are going to continue to except digital pictures in there competitions and exhibitions they are going to have to set some boundaries. The only ruling at the moment is you have to be the author of all the picture components. As photographers where do you feel the boundaries lie? when does digital photography become digital art? :O)

Mike thats twice you have posted have you found your PC again? Oh, I see you have and a naked bike, we have loads of them round our way. Sorry girls. Like your image, But would like to make this comment, is it Photography? This thought is plaguing me at the MO, just started entering photographic exhibitions again and the judges keep questioning if my work is Photography. Makes me so made man it started in the camera what more do you want what are your thoughts?

Thread: Digital vs. Film...? | Forum: Photography
OK nice thread, but just where is we going? I read with interest that we feel digi is a toy and I guess thats my opinion too. But that only because I cant afford that 14megapixal SLR that Alpha spotted (Try to stop drooling, going to bed with the speck under my pillow, never know the camera fairy might bring me one) I am sure those of us using digi professionally at the top end are getting the results they want but for the majority of us using what is affordable, it is still a toy and the results will sill not stand against a good photographic print. I just cant wait for them to get the price down, Hold on lads, Im going to be the first to jump ship. :O)

Thread: Bracketing - really needed? (for "film" shooters) | Forum: Photography
What can I say here? That old white/black sheet of paper thing of course presented with this sort of situation you must make the appropriate call. I have to agree that understanding your film stock and your camera are the two key things to not bracketing and for a majority of my shots I have fond my camera and its metering systems are more than capable of sorting it. My god! I cant believe I am defending the automated camera here, LOL. Not to long ago I wouldnt have been seen dead with one and as for auto focus well who needs that? Bloody fantastic, how the hell did I live without it? And Marc when I want that sheet of white paper shot I will lob it under the scanner LOL :o)
