Yes, I mean the Folders library - I wasn't sure excatly what to call it.
It's not moving around the workspace; what I'm after is a way to turn off its autohiding behaviour (to use Windows toolbar parlance) so that it's always visible and available on the right hand side, rather than hiding and tucking away at odd moments.

Very timely - I had that certain hair on my shopping-cart at the certain other place. Looks as though I can take it off now, even if it is only $0.99.
Depending on where you are in the UK, you could always name it in line with the competition - Essex, Lancashire, Midlothian Hair? Doesn't quite have the same ring, though...

Sean is right; as far as I can see, all the poses are presets (though they're animated, so you can render in-between stages) and the options are limited.
Also, the demo has a nag-screen which pops up every two minutes or so and prevents any genuine evaluation.

A third option; keep an eye on magazine cover-CD offers.
The lo-res versions of Mike 1 and Vicky 1 are frequently made available, and the most recent offer was the Dina V figure on Computer Arts magazine.

I got the demo of LifeStudio on the basis of this thread, and it's actually rather good. It's save-enabled and doesn't time out. The only thing you can't do is export models.
The potential of the full program looks pretty impressive, but with all that it offers I'd imagine it has a price tag to match. Looks as though it's only licensed to game developers, though.

Well... this discussion has got me hook, line and SINKHA.
But; yes, I remember it - I've got it. The folow-up, Hyelyn (if that's the right spelling) has the original story bundled with it on the CD.
It's not bad; good graphics (which were outstanding for their time, I guess) but a rather clich storyline. The follow-up is better; I'll dig the CD out and post an image to this thread later.

I started reading this thread at the same time as starting a 10Mb download on 56k dialup.
Just finished the thread, looked up and... 10Mb (probably 40 minutes?) duly downloaded.
