imposes effects on text and melancholytron is basically just a filter...???? I suppose lunarcell is out as it renders planets and the same for glitterato as that renders stars/nebula....

low res like about 100dpi or less....also the more diffuse the airbrush the worse the problem can be (like a 200 or 300 brush) but generally I don't get the problem with higher res images such as around 200dpi and above and the brush size doesn't matter. - have you tried that? (and then reduce the res for the final image) (btw I colour my stuff on a 900mhz, 256mb Acer laptop in p/shop 5 or 7)

I use that because I have hassles running p/shop 7 on my laptop - it keeps freezing unexpectedly, so I use my trusty old p/shop 5 mostly and only swap to 7 when I need a special feature. So I guess I will have to save the final jpegs in 7 from now on using the save for web function....

- the genres are still too limited in range overall I feel and we most definitely need to be able to select more than one genre option. 2. - and more importantly On a dialup connection this is going to take ages - not withstanding should I be using my newer laptop with the 56 modem...gawd help me on the 33 modem'd dekstop PC I have! Renderosity has been running very slow of late as a whole and has a bad case of the red-x's in the galleries at present. This happens even at work where I have access to an ADSL line so it's not just my crappy computers at home. The rendo' site doesn't load properly, simple as that. The edit/upload function should take you directly to your personal gallery not the main gallery (such as digital comics in my case). This is because if I were to be setting the genre's and editing everyone of my images I have to then ctrl-v the gallery URL again in the browser and have it reload everything in order to do the next image. So far I have genred 3 images and already it's a major pain in the butt to do this. So I for one have decided not to continue with the genre feature for old images but will do so for new stuff from now on -maybe. cheers Sean

it freezes on me when I uses multiple rapid clicks when using the brush (such as small paintbrush changes) meaning I have to reboot, it comes up with errors saying I need another drive entirely for a scratch disk. I can't see the gradient editor like portrayed in the book for the life of me so can't make new gradients....need I go on? so I rarely use it preferring to stay with my old trusty ps 5.0 - and change to ps7 if I "have" to in order to do something which 5 can't - which doesn't seem like much to me.
